Premier League: 02/03 October

Same ol' shit then. Arsene never learns. I'd be so frustrated if I were a Gooner.

Arsenal are the new Liverpool...next year will be our year etc etc etc

Don't win anything with kids....Playing one way when everyone's sussed it

Arsenal even with their starters would have been beat. Chavs are too powerful, too confident playing at home. Going to be hard to beat them at the bridge.

Drogba was brilliant today. Arsenal didn't to do bad considering all their injuries, but I don't think they ever troubled Cech and they struggled to create anything.

Thank feck Song moved out of the way of that FK. That could have hit him and stopped the goal if he wasn't careful.

So, what does everyone think about Ramierez then? Looked pretty good in midfield today. chavs didn't miss lumpy one bit.

Or a United fan from some of the reactions on here.

ummm....so you didn't actually want Chelsea to lose today? Of course I'm frustrated. I would have loved to see Arsenal beat our closest rivals today. Instead they are 5 points ahead and looking pretty good.

Looks a good player, nothing more really. He wasn't up against any real quality. Wilshere was poor, Arshavin was awful, was Nasri even playing? Played v City last week and looked out of place.

We'll have to wait and see, really.

Is that based on today? No shame losing away to Chelsea. And 2nd half they played well

Did they play well though? They had a lot of the ball but they were devoid of any creativity, Chelsea defended brilliantly. Did Cech have a save to make today?

That would be Levski Sofia you are trying to recall my good man.

I agree, just because you have a lot of possession it doesnt make you the better team. Chelsea did what most top teams do against Asnl, defend well and hit them on the counter.

Its the same crap year in year out though. They'll pass the ball well against the big teams. Create nothing and then concede. It creates an illusion of playing well but they actually do the same thing every year.

Make no mistake there was no chance in hell Arsenal were ever going to score.

Yes, obvious highlight is the Liverpool result, they just keep falling further down. And, Torres has a groin injury which is what caused him to be taken off.

Chelsea were outplayed for most of that game at home. Jammy feckers.

Can't remember Cech having to make a decent save to be honest, apart from the Arshavin one in the first half. Whereas Chelsea had four or five great chances. You confuse possession with domination.

They let you have the ball, looked to defend deep and hit you on the counter. Wenger never learns though. You're lucky the linesman wasn't letting Chelsea have a thing otherwise you'd have lost 5 or 6 nil.

To be fair, pete, if it was unusual that your lot had more of the ball or wasted chances then it would be jammy. As it was they just picked you off as they clearly decided they would before the game and looked too strong physically.

Right, just back from the shortest away trip of the year - the only positive of today is that the ground is only 20 minutes from my house.

If I'm being honest, we didn't deserve much from that game, simply because we didn't score. It's all very well saying that we deserved something, but you tend to deserve what you get in football. If your strikers don't put the ball in the net, it's not unlucky, it means they've been wasteful. Chelsea were a bit fortunate with the first goal though - there was a blatant foul on Song in the build up, but the second was a great strike. It's a long way back for us now.

I've got to say though, Chelsea are so uninspiring. They're the champions of England, yet they play most of the game on the edge of their own penalty box. I know it works against us, but it just leaves me a bit cold.
