He's got a ways to go, but i like what i've seen.

Good strength, good pace, willingness to work and at least an awareness of how to play the position. Needs to polish aspects of his game but that should come with time.

Exciting prospect, all be it a very raw one.

He tries very hard to get crosses in, even though the quality varied considerably. He is far more direct than your typical United player. His control is awful but given a couple of years I'm sure he'll improve considerably in this area. He's got plenty of potential but a lot of hard work is going to be required over the next few years.

He got a small knock shortly after his goal. Nice debut game from start though.

Nobody can fault him for his effort.

He's got some way to go in terms of his technique but physically he looks a player. He was one of our best out there tonight and he deserves some recognition for that. He worked hard and got his rewards. What more can you ask for? I was definitely impressed by him and look forward to seeing him again soon.

He's very raw and looked jittery early on but there was enough in the performance to be hopeful about.

I was quite impressed with him, looked the most likely to create something most of the time he was on. Also quite unpredictable and willing to go outside or cut inside on either foot. I doubt he'll have much of an impact this season but it will be interesting to see how he develops.

What a shit dance.

Even Djemba twins had a better one.

But I was impressed. Has good pace and movement. Needs to work on strength and fitness. Looked shattered after 65 mins.

From somwhere on twitter :

He's tall, he's thin, you'll find him in a bin, it's Bebe, it's Bebe...

He's definitely got some improvement to make but thought he did ok tonight. He's a while away from regular first team football though.

This is possibly the most boring thread in the world...

Young, raw, things to work with, physique, potential, quick, hard working, ect ect.

Every post is the same as the last just reworded

Well he's got things to work with. I love his potential, he's quick hard working and has a good physique. He's young and raw not much more to say.

He gives me the impression hes either going to be a phenomenal player or utter horse turd, he could literally be either for us from what i saw tonight.

I agree, either phenomenal, awful or somewhere in between.

I was reasonably impressed by him, he clearly has loads of potential.

Agreed. I think Bebe is going to be a good signing. I can't say that about some of the other youngsters tonight though - Gibson and Macheda are not going to light up Old Trafford anytime soon.

But Bebe is going to be a bit special I reckon - he just has something about him that the other youth players don't have and I don't mean his dance.

His touch is far worse than the 'touch of a rapist'. Atleast, a rapist would still be able to keep the woman close to him.

That said, after the goal, his game was became better.

Again it was not a great performance like Obertan but he had a decent game for his first start.

I am unsure how Bebe will develop but he has time on his hands. At this stage I have not seen anything exceptional to plump £7m on a total unknown.

As his english improves and he settles down that will help as well.

He still doesn't look United material. His idea of beating a man is by doing a series of step overs which allows his man to beat him to the ball before he is done with his repertoire. Couldn't cross to save his life. I will like to think that we didn't pay £7.4m for someone who can do step overs alone.

Physically he is good enough, anyone who can compete with Elokobi is more than competent in the Physical stakes.

I was very impressed with him based on what I saw. If he keeps moving in the right direction and takes on what he learns he will be brilliant
