Manchester City vs. Manchester United - Premier League, 10/11/2010

City's should be ashamed. Played like a £500m relegation outfit. The impetus is on the home side to attack and they showed no desire to whatsoever.

Think we probably would've won if we could've kept Rafael and Evra on the pitch. Decent performance from us without cutting edge.

Remember when City used to not be such cowards, and would actually try to attack us at home?

You're just making stuff up because you're really defensive away from home.

It's called tactics, Spammy. It's not as if we piled 10 men behind the ball, we play like that in most of our big away games. Out of the two teams, we were the more positive.

Frustrated hugely frustrated, we dominated that from start to finish, dominated their midfield just couldnt create that clear cut chance, City really are a bundle of shit, all that money and they couldn't even create a chance on their own pitch.

Only one team in Manchester and tonight yet again proved who the better side are.

Exactly.

Shut up Spammy.

With City set up the way they did it was rather dull. They absolutely never looked like scoring. We looked comfortable enough without having any cutting edge ourselves.

Happy enough with the point though we could have won it. Anyway win at Villa Park on saturday and it would have been a decent week.

Thought we played some fantastic football but, City were setup very strongly and they managed to hold on.

Just a little retarded to say we don't have match winners when you've got Scholes, Nani, Berbatov, Chicha playing, who can all win the game with a moment of brilliance.

I was nervous for the whole game because we did have a couple real spaztic moments that could have completely undone a game we thoroughly dominated. Am encouraged because if we keep playing like that in our passing, we'll open up teams and have enough quality to start taking some chances.

That was the best 0-0 I've ever seen, great defensive display from both teams and if Nani had been half-fit we'd have won. Still the best team in Manchester by a country mile on that evidence.

Yeah both teams were brilliant defensively. No one looked like scoring. But best 0-0 ever? The best 0-0 imo was Arsenal vs Madrid

Undefeated, alot of our players have been ill with a fever, nani back from injury and we get a point away against city who have all the money in the world and want revenge and your all miserable and peed off! Jeese, well there isn't pleasing some.

We could of lost. Be happy, we didn't lose and atleast city will be pissed off again that they didn't beat us.

Carrick was fecking brilliant tonight and I've been a harsh critic

This. He was absolutely brilliant today. Quite easily our best player along with Vidic.

Great defensively and good going forward as well.

Frustrating game, like a 12 round jabfest. They didn't come to play and we didn't really commit enough to win the game. I hated it.

We'd all have accepted a draw before the game started so pretty good result all things considered.

Lets hope that the Evra/Rafael injuries are just knocks. Carrick and Scholes looking bloody brilliant again in midfield is a big boost.

Our defence were completely comfortable (one O'Shea feck up aside).

Midfield was utterly dominant.

Park and Nani weren't great in attack. Berbatov did well but was tactically subbed for Hernandez's pace in behind if City actually decided to attack for a winner. They didn't, the cowardly bastards.

Good game from us tonight with some lovely play but felt we didn't realyl threaten their goal. The Berba chance was good but most things unluckily straight at Hart. Felt we deserved 3 points on that display. Probably could have done with Berba on with Hernandez as at times there was no one in the box, before or after the change. Nani was off form for me tonight. Have to say Berbatov was awesome, that bit where he took on 3 City players and they coudln't get the ball was class, just a shame he was so deep as above, we had no one in the box.

City were a joke, too defensive and the only chances they got came from corners or free kicks which they got from bounced out blocks. 4 points, not too bad, big game, big pressure against a team who are now up there, with a lot of players out for us.

Yeah you were more positive, more HIV positive that is. Even we are more attacking away from home under Woy. Crap, but more attacking.

From what I heard from the commentators in the last 10 minutes, both defenses were excellent today and did not give anything easily. We were a little better attacking but still could not make a difference.

Very witty, Spammy.

Didn't really watch your game at City, but I'll take 'defensive' and a 0 - 0 over an 'attacking' and 3 - 0 loss any day of the week.

Those two teams were incredibly evenly matched. You could pick out any player from United or City, and see exactly who his opposite number was.

Like Barry = Carrick, Silva = Nani, Milner = Park, that sort of thing.

Always going to be a 0-0, short of a monumental cock-up from somebody (O'Shea tried his best).

Some of our play around the box was horrible to watch though. Like when Berbatov decided to start being tricky in his own area. I almost died!

How did Berbatov do today? He has been scoreless since the Liverpool game in September. That is almost two months.

:lol::lol:Please

Even when Carrick was shit that's just out of order!

Have you been hacked? Not like you to be such a WUM Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime.

We played against a £500m parked bus tonight.

I agree we didn't do enough to break them down, mostly due to lack of performances from Park and Nani, but against such cowardly tactics from such an expensive set-up, it was all a bit futile.

Dunno, but I feel as if I've tried to get it up all night....and accidentally blown my load without a hint of palm near my piece.

Football.

Taking into consideration the players we still have out and this virus which has affected most of the players, I'd have taken a point tonight so I'm happy enough with that, plus we gave a good performance I thought. We just lacked the cutting edge in the final third of the pitch, but otherwise I thought defensively and in midfield, we were great.

I thought we played the better football and if anybody was going to nick the winner, it would have been us but it just wasn't to be unfortunately. For a team with such ambition, I'm surprised at City's gameplan. You would think being the home team and wanted to get out of our shadow, they'd go full throttle but they just didn't.

We've still players to come back, and I can't wait because tonight was positive for me. Onward and upwards, get players back and get raring again for the weekend and Villa

Good post gal, said it all

We were comfortably the better team and the only team really trying to win it, a point isn't bad but if we'd had more spark up top I think City were there for the taking.

I'm not, that's what Mancini does. The Italian mentality is first and foremost not to lose.

Fergie is a gambler, something that Mancini will never be.

Which is why they will never win anything with him as manager in my opinion.
