The goal will encourage Fergie to keep the same players out there, but he still needs to change it. Obertan and Macheda have had enough of a chance out there.
I really feel for Macheda, whenever he gets a chance we always always always isolate him up top on his own and he inevitably struggles to make an impact, just for once it would be nice if we gave him a partner.
Our performance has left a lot to be desired to be honest. Delighted with the lead but we've almost never looked like scoring today. This is a team we pumped 10 goals past last year. Wish we would put on another striker. Delighted with the lead anyway.

park has been poor and one decent cross doesn´t change that.
i like park and every team would love a player like him but that doesn´t change the fact that he has been poor for most of the season.

Tbh, park more often than not breaks down our attack rather than contribute.

Park must be the most lightweight player in the league. He's been knocked over about 10 times in the first half alone.

I still dont get why we play Kiko up front alone, hes so isolated its not even funny. Obertan has looked lively but rarely picked a pass out, Fletcher has looked poor hope Scholes comes on for him.
Carrick has been caught too often and Rafael has saved him...what a gritty full back the lad is.

We've had a feck load of possession but couldn't find the final ball, then we found one and scored.
I've seen us go into half-time 0-0 with Wigan, and end up winning 5-0.
TBF the ball does the majority of the work. All Park does is kick it.
The thing about starting young guys like Macheda and Obertan in matches like this is that when things arent going well they are the ones being replaced and then goes their confidence. I will never understand why Fergie seems so relucant to play the strongest eleven available. 3 points against Wigan is as important as 3 vs Tottenham or Arsenal yet Scholes,Rooney and Giggs are on the bench and we play like shit and somehow scored a late goal.
Slow and no cutting edge all half. Serious lack of creativity in the final third. We really struggled to create anything all half with all that possession.

Bollocks, minus a goal Park did exactly the same today as Bale was doing against Arsenal. Won freekick after freekick with his running. Its a lot more than most of his team mates have managed today.
I'm not a big Park fan but he has his moments when he's in form and some really good one-off performances. Today he's done a very good job so far even if there's room for improvement.
He seems to get a it over excited when he has an opportunity to do something in the final 3rd.
