Rangers FC vs. Manchester United

Well we never really look like scoring much nowadays and today's no different. Reckon we should nick this 1-0.

Valencia 4-0 up at HT. That's 8 goals scored in 135 mins against them. How did we manage just 4 over two games :eek:
 
If we can get an early goal in the second half then it will force rangers to actually play football.

My only worry is that we recently seem to have got into the arsenal habit of trying to pass the fecking ball into the net.
 
Fabio, Carrick and Smalling have been very good. Looks like it's going to be a typical, clinical European performance.

What's the record for minutes without conceding? We've gone four and a half matches without conceding now.

We're in 'conserving energy' mode. Once we go up, we're not too bothered with scoring again. If it happens, great. If it doesn't and we keep them out, job done.
 
Rooney's dribbling looks so bad these days. He usually loses it, or just ends up falling over the ball.
 
Be nice to see Hernandez get some playing time with Rooney, hopefully he's introduced on the hour mark. Also be nice too see Anderson get some time on the pitch.

Well better to let them tire ballchasing in the first half and raise the tempo in the second half.

We aren't talking about history. We're talking the present, the last 2 years we've played some pretty dull, uninspired football. It seems to work the majority of the time and we're all probably spoilt from the Ronnie years. But we've played some bloody awful stuff recently.
