I've given myself twenty minutes to calm down after that, so here's the other side of the coin view point.
Firstly, I think United were the better of two sides who played poorly on the night. You played less poorly than we did - I saw very little of Rooney, Nani was wasteful, and I also didn't think Fletcher had a great game at all. Your positives were all defensively, Rafael standing out as a particularly good performance.
Secondly, however, and it has to be mentioned, the performance of the referee this evening was nothing short of appalling. God knows what RAWK made of it. Ferdinand kicked Sagna in the stomach, piercing his shirt, and not even a free kick was given. The Clichy incident was indeed a handball, but how does he avoid it? I don't get how you can give a penalty when a player kicks the ball against the arm of a player who is on the ground. Clever play from Nani, but never a penalty for me. Darren Fletcher should have been booked as well - he ran thirty yards to swear at Webb, and that wasn't deemed dissent, whilst Nasri had a go at him, and was immediately booked. Vidic and Chamakh commit identical fouls - guess which one is booked. His performance was all that I expected, but even worse.
All in all though, I'm just disappointed with how we played as a whole. That wasn't the side that went to City, Villa and Everton. We just had a nightmare as a whole - although defensively we weren't bad at all. Park's goal was a worldie - he won't score another like it in his career, but we didn't come back from that. We can't expect a win from a game in which we didn't create a chance of note.
So yeh, Webb didn't help, and actively sought to ensure we lost the game, but that wasn't good enough on our behalf, and we'll have to improve if we're going to get back in it.
Thing is, you'll criticize Webb for being biased against you, we will criticize him for being biased against us, and truth is he was poor all in all, not biased either way.
