Premier League Fixtures (26 - 29 Dec)

I thought there was a foul on Carroll before Spurs broke for the goal. Replays cleared showed he was tripped. Ref bottled it.

Second match in running, Spurs down to 10 men and winning comfortably. Both controversial decisions, and they are just like United 99, coming back again and again.

Brilliant football team.

luck not smiling on Sunderland ball just won't go in....

They're a very good side but "brilliant"? Really? I don't think so although they are brilliant to watch.

Cheering being top despite us having 3 games in hand

Is that the first time Spurs have kept a clean sheet since the opening day of the season?

They wouldn't be getting the same amount of love if they weren't managed by 'Arry.

Spurs are very similar to the treble winners, and will have to be similarly lucky to win anything, as you can't play like such utter fecking psychopaths and win titles 99 times out of a hundred. Especially these days.

I watched the second half of Sunderland Blackpool, it was fantastic, and just about the least deserved 2-0 win ever. Anyone know what the record amount of away wins for a newly promoted side is?

Spurs are potentially 2 points off City if you consider the game they have in hand, who happen to be league leaders today. They have turned a lot of matches, they are competing in Europe for the first time and they have managed to play attacking football while dealing with injuries. They have a great midfield and if not for a Gomes cock up, they could have won against Chelsea as well. That is after beating Liverpool and Arsenal, can't even bother to look up their result against City.

I think they are brilliant.
