It's the players that stinks,
It's the players that stinks, there's no motivation, no drive, and there's too much player's power imo. Carra + Gerrard should be left to bench as they have becoming more as a detrimental to the club every second they're in the field.
Rodallega was linked with Arsenal last summer if I remember right, he's a decent player but I'm not sure he's good enough for the level that Liverpool are aspiring to return to, he's very inconsistent and is often invisible through entire games. Having said that he's an important player to Wigan, so I suspect Wheelan would want a fairly hefty transfer fee for him.

Of course it is.
One day the penny will drop on here and you'll all realise that Hodgson is so very clearly out of his depth.
Until then, you'll seemingly keep blaming one of Benitez, Carragher, Torres or Gerrard.
Liverpool are 9th in the league, with two games in hand. Win those and their 6th. Right where they belong.
Hodgson and Commioli were at the Newc v Wigan game today. My Liverpool supporting mate reckons (on the basis of hearing/reading it elsewhere) that they're after Rodallega and possibly Jose Enrique in the window. Both would be better than what they have at present. I guess paying the tax on buys from other English teams might be a problem though.
Win those games in hand and the table (which allegedly never lies, proving Roy's rubbishness), will prove Roy is better than Rafa.
If they lose tonight, is Roy in danger?
And, would sacking him before Sunday be retarded or would having a caretaker in be better for them?
Just after rafa was sacked, i sat down with a few very clever ivy league MBA educated business consultant friends of mine. All had a deep knowledge base and interest in English football. For a laugh, we all put our professional skill sets to the test and tried to apply all our models and business theories to see ow Liverpool could be resurrected. After a couple of hours of chewing the fat, we unanimously concluded that basically they are fecked. There was not much else to say really.
Liverpool FC remains a massive 5 year heavy investment turnaround project which is still standing at time zero. And none of the key personnel are yet in place. Worse, they have lots of pieces in the wrong places.
They will know need to get rid of Woy and endure all the transitory pain that is felt within a club whenever mananger is sacked. They still need a much bigger new stadium, £150m warchest to invest in the squad and new manager who will be backed come what may and who has the balls to sell Gerrard and Torres and start all over again. And they need to go through all that with no certainty that it will deliver on time as planned indeed if at all
Short of being acquired by a generous Sheik who will limitlessly invest with no expectation of financial return (unlikely given the new UEFA rules soon to come into play), they are stuck in the mediocrity known as the rock and hard place.
Yep, there's a new manager bounce where the players wants to impress the new guy.
We'll have to deal with it and beat them anyway.
Didn't really need to take the bold to figure out the underlined though. Pretty much anybody can see that.
A new manager, no matter how good cannot fix the problems they have. What are their assetts?
Gerrard
Reina
Torres
A good fan base
Gerrard will soon be in the downturn of his career and Torres surely wont stay that much longer.
Liverpool are at least six top quality players away from contending for a top 4 spot and with Chelsea and Citeh to compete with for better players I don't see a solution anytime soon. Put all that together with a ground that is dated and too small and they really are light years away from contending for title number 19. In fact chances are we will be well into the 20s by the time that may come to pass.
He's fat, he's round, he bounces on the ground...... Sammy Lee!
Daniel Agger - what happened to that highly rated player? Overated

Adebayor and Nzogbia would both improve the first XI, Krancjaer is a good player but He'd do nothing to solve the bigger problems in the team. Palacios is rubbish.
Forget that lot. I bet you that if you had a manager as capable as say Arsen Wenger and gave him 30m quid, he'd have Liverpool back as a top 4 side within 18 months.
