Tottenham v Manchester United

How was Vidic not given MOTM? fecking joke

Very good defensively, midfield improved as the game went on, just lacked that creativity in the final third. Draw a fair result imo.

surprised? he is a gooner.

the commentator in the US said it was harsh and refs should think about applying the rules.

Tyler was justifying because we got a soft penalty against Liverpool. I think he might have forgotten how Brum equalised against us. He's a childish cnut.

Spurs were the better team: had the lion's share of the play and controlled the game pretty much.

But we didn't score - in fact neither GK was much troubled - and Man. Utd defended well. So a draw is fair result.

My main conclusion is what I've thought anyhow: a new, class striker is the main priority need for Spurs this transfer window.

One point at White Hart Lane, still unbeaten and top of the table with less matches played than our main rivals. That's positive.

We played today really poor and our midfield wasn't creative. Nani wasn't even half of a player he was in his last three matches and I don't remember when I saw so weak Giggs as he was today. Carrick and Fletcher were battered by Modric. Rooney was quite good, but still not the same he was last season. Berbatov? Definitely one of his worst performances this season, let's hope that he won't repeat them, he used to play very well after his poor appearance. Defence? Rafael > Bale. Ferdinand and Vidic world class once again, but Evra didn't win with Lennon today, he was also less offensive than usual.

Red card for Rafael? We had a lot of luck to see him still on the pitch after his first yellow card foul, but that second one wasn't deserved. Poor Dean.

A draw at White Hart Lane isn't something bad. Tottenham are in top five and to draw away from home against top team can't be considered as a bad result.

We should be only angry at our players, midfielders.

Poor performance by the midfield, there's no question about that.

You didn't create anything and looked devoid of ideas against 10 men. A team like Arsenal would've given us a much tougher game.

I'll take that considering the last 20 minutes. Defence was brilliant today. Entertaining game for me.

Exactly. Once Rafael was sent off, I would have taken the point. Although in the final seconds, when Giggs burst forward I thought we could have nicked it, but it just wasn't to be.

Least we're back top of the league and still have the advantage of our games in hand.

Maybe. But another year fighting at the top4 and CL should hold you guys in good stead when it comes to these matches. I felt we did good and didn't allow you guys on the ground near the box and our defenders were good in the air.

Although Arsenal were dire at OT. Agree with other points though, we were good and no complaints. It's a great point. Thought Giggs was not all that poor like some folks say here. It was a good display from us.

Don't know if taking off Nani was solely tactical

Whatever .... doesn't change my view that Spurs were the better team today.

If better's look a bit toothless against 10 men, then yes you were better. Not once were we in any trouble...and had your man Dean not wrongly sent off Rafael, we would've nicked it. I suspect Chelsea and Arse'll give us tougher games.

tbf mate. They had two excellent chances.

thought they just shaded us. But you need to get past Vidic eh.?
they could not do that.

At home they should've done a lot better, Dreams. Clearly they're along way off challenging for the title.

Spurs were a like a normal mid table side giving us a good game infront of a fired up crowd.

Ultimately dissapointing for them.

We were between good and average.

Top with two games in hand - who's complaining?

You had 10 men for just 15 - 20 minutes ... it's not like the majority of the game. And yes, Spurs were fairly toothless up front, but then so were Man. Utd.

Regardless of whether it was before or after Rafael got sent off, Spurs looked the better team overall. If you can't admit that then I give up.

United tested the keeper more than Spurs did, facht.

Surprised Pavlyuchenko didn't start, I think hes a quality striker.

Giggs, Fletcher and Rooney were crap, it was like playing with 8 men.

The decision to sub Nani was just wrong. Good to see Anderson on though, he should've started.

MOTM was Vidic, our top class defence saved us again.

Don't think VDS made one save, as opposed to Gomes who was tested on several occasions.

Nothing to see here. United were below par and played 20 minutes away from home with 10 men.

If Spurs can't do better than that, or make one clear cut chance on goal at home, they will struggle in the future against the top sides.

Draw was a fair result.
