RAWK goes into Meltdown 2010/2011

Here is a quick question - would any of you's take an aging Steven Gerrard (cnut as he may be) for a year or two, just to get him a winners medal and see the scouse reaction?

I would rather see StevieG retire with no PL medals myself.

Feeky_Magee presents - "powerful", "emotive", "hilarious": 'A SCOUSE EVENING'

The game kicks off... straight away the Scousers, with deathly accuracy pinpoint some clearly biased pieces of commentary:
'The biggest game since 1971' for Blackpool eh?

Bless Sky they are just so impartial.

"New Experience for the Manchester United Squad to be at Bloomfield Road" apparantly.

Yeah. Because all the other league players have played here loads of times.

Sky. It's just fascinating. Regretting my decision to leave the sound on already.

Damn Sky. They've been biased for United for ages. It coincided with them starting to win title actually! What? ESPN? Erm, them too. They're all in on it I tells ya!

Evra headbutts Charlie Adam in the elbow, and gets away with it thanks to his mate Walton. This is clearly a half foul.

The number of 'half fouls' Manchester United get away with really is surprising when you're not bothered.

Evra bleeding quite badly.

Alex Ferguson questions why no action was taken for Adam's elbow. Kids across the country react by looting and stabbing, inspired by Ferguson's disgusting example.

Ferguson has been told off by Clatternburg and now Ferguson is acting completely out of order and no action has been taken.

This, sadly, is a sure sign of the state of our game that a respected manager like Mr. Ferguson can act like a cad and a boor and yet nothing is done. What kind of an example is that to set to little tots watching?

With Evra off the pitch, Blackpool win a corner, and score. The 'Pool are elated. Liverpool, that is.

YYYYEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

1-0!!

HA HA HA

CATHCART!;D

feck YESSSSS

Evra clearly chests the ball, with his hand swinging to the side due to the momentum, the kind of action only a retard could mistake for his hand hitting the ball.

Evra clearly handballs it. Nothing given.

Manchester United increase the pressure, and Blackpool foul several times.

Referee determined to help Manchester United not be picked on by giving a jolly generous decision.

How many is that now? 4? 5?

A clear foul in the box, one only a retard could question, is awarded. As United were in possession anyway the award was unnecessary, and therefore a measure of advantage is played when the free-kick is taken a 2 or 3 yards ahead of where the foul occurred. Not that it matters, it was in United's own box and it was taken short anyway.

OK. This is getting a little silly. Another dubious decision. But let that go for now - it was about 20 yards from where the 'offence' took place - and the referee allowed it to continue?

Blackpool are awarded a free-kick, their fifth of the game at this stage to United's four.

Woah!

28 minutes and 9 seconds - finally gives a decision to Blackpool. First of the match

Fletcher trips Adam, one of a series of niggly fouls on both sides. This is really disappointing from football, clearly.

Manchester United finally getting some possession not given to them by the referee.

Another piece of unsportsmanlike behaviour from Fletcher. Terrible 'tackle' there on Adam. Straight from instructions from Ferguson that one - if someone is doing well - he gets them fouled and clattered.

Scholes will be in with a 2 footer on him next.

Really disappointing from football.

Blackpool score again. The Scousers erupt. No.19 is basically off the cards.

GOOOOAAAAALLL!!!!!!

2-0

GET IN THERE

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Blackpool have had more fouls than United at this stage of the game.

The fouls coming in from the sadly predictable Manchester United dirty club.

Two in a row - one ignored and then Gibson with a shocking tackle from behind.

Typical Ferguson dirt. But Blackpool physically are stronger than the players Manchester United have out there.

Half time. 2-0. Game well and truly over. Time for glee, but still a bit of moaning at the referee, who although getting the only major decision wrong in favour of Blackpool might as well be wearing a United shirt.

Ref has been quite poor. Not quite he's as impartial as you might expect a top flight referee. Holloway is very annoyed with him.

Being honest - perhaps to break up this 'old boys' network that seems to exist - we should be looking at bringing in other referees who are equally qualified to referee games?

The game needs a shake up.

HAHAHA, oh Mr. Ferguson what is your massive half time plan going to be then?

And to think how they laughed at us when we lost there. At least we scored and looked decent. This lot are fecking shite.

The piss-stained tramp will be selling the last remnants of his soul right now.

It's only fitting that the imminent fall of Manchester United coincides with the rise of Liverpool.

Awesome advert on ESPN quoting 'appy 'arry saying it'll be a miracle if Man Utd get through the season unbeaten. ;D

Oh, Sir Ryan's on... day saved

The second half begins and Rafael shoulder barges Varney in the box, who's looking for it a bit. Probably a penalty. Not given. 1-1 in major decisions.

feck OFF

CLEAR PENALTY

The sport is fecked.

Well that was a nailed on pen. Ref will be fecking minted after this match.

Calm down, it's a mistake.

The latest in a line of 18 years of highly predictable, incentivised, FA endorsed 'mistakes'.

Sport's fixed.

And once again the 'referee' gives nothing. I've seen terrible referees. And then this.

It is, I'd say, easily the worst 'refereeing' I've ever seen. You expect the odd dodgy decision to Manchester United. But this is like 100% one way. It is unbelievable.

At this point, the Scousers are pointing out every single free-kick being awarded to United. Vidic then gets twunted, becooming the second United player to bleed in the game as a result of a Blackpool challenge.

Charlie Adam absolutely hoofs Nani. This is the sort of challenge that was "really disappointing from football" coming from United. Alex Ferguson shouts in the vague direction of Walton who is in the process of trying to call back Adam to book him. This is clearly Walton booking Adam on Fergie's say so.

Oh dear god.

Definitely no corruption in this game though. Definitely definitely not.

To be fair Blackpool are dealing quite well with the thugs.

Ferguson screaming for Adam to be booked...

And.. Walton then.. after seeing Ferguson..

Books ADAM!!

Ferguson is demanding a red.

Who is running this game, you wonder.

If you think this game isn't corrupt, explain that to me.

WHAT A feckING CORRUPT BASTARD, just ask for a booking and Walton will suck your cock

And the game isn't corrupt? feck off you bent ref c*nt!!

Adam getting booked under the instruction of Bacon Face.

The corruption is as clear as day in this match.

13 v 11 now I see, come on Blackpool hang on and stuff these corrupt feckers.

Walton has given Blackpool absolutely NOTHING in this game.

Hmm. So first United have kicked Blackpool around the park and secondly Walton has given Blackpool nothing. If that's the case why does the foul count end up 11-10 to Blackpool?

Meanwhile, the Sky, sorry, ESPN commentators continue their clear bias for United.

Commentator willing the Mancs on..

"They've never failed to score this season and Blackpool haven't kept a clean sheet at Bloomfield Road.."

Berbatov scores to make it 2-1.

feck off....

Berbaflop scores

Well we could see that coming...

Walton & United Vs Blackpool for the last 18 mins now..

Corrupt
Despite replays showing that both Fletcher and Berbatov were onside, the wily Scousers are not fooled by the photoshop.
Was offside then.

Someone needs to get down there and teach that linesman the offside rule.

Hernández, from a clearly onside position, scores, 2-2.

Why do I bother? Why do I do it to myself?

wtfffffffffffffffffff

Offside again

Looks offside to me......

Well THANK YOU WALTON YOU PRICK

feckKSSSS SAKE

So obvious what was going to happen when the ref bottled out of the penalty decision. Predictable. And again, this is why they'll win the league, it won't be down to ability.

They scored two offside goals and no pen given against them?

Half time brown envelopes.
In 15 -20 years when it's all come out and all the inquests have been done, people will look back at nights like tonight and think "how the feck did they get away with it for so long?"

An actual wrong offside call occurs, when the ball comes off a Blackpool player and falls to Berbatov. Never mind that though, FERGUSON SHOUTED.

Whisky c*nt going mental about the offside call. Oh deary me.

Why does that 4th bastard official not tell Ferguson to sit the feck down before his knackered liver drops through his arse.

Rafael suffers what looks like a potentially serious injury.

Rafael got knocked out. Good.

Sadly he's now awake.

Ah well.

Rafael stretchered off.

Not all bad news then.

Oh shit, looks like he's really badly injured.

*shrugs and continues to drink beer*

Berbatov scores to complete a remarkable comeback showing the resilience and the quality needed to win a title. Scousers don't like title-winning qualities, as they are so unused to them.

feck OFFF

Nooooooooooooooooo!

3-2 Mancs.

Walton sees the whole Manchester United team go over the fans. No bookings. Nothing said.

Corruption is sickening. And this game should be used as a guide book to as bad as it can get.

The corruption continues apace. Blackpool get it into the area and guess what.

No. Go on. Guess what..

You'll never guess.

Yep. The officials gave a freekick.

Fletcher with yet another foul from behind on Adam. Nothing given again by Walton.

Just how many 'decisions' is that now?
Scousers predict added time after United goal in 88th minute.

Can now expect 1 or 2 minutes of extra time. Sickening.

Now it will be just the two mins added.

Scousers fail. Also fail at the concept of Fergie time.
And 10 minutes given.

feckING Mr Alex Ferguson TIME!
Ten minutes of added extra time.

Ten.

TEN.

Good thing about 10 minutes - hopefully a few career ending injuries for Manchester United on a plowed field of a pitch.

Sadly Rafael isn't seriously injured.
Despite there having been two major questionable calls - one either way, and the referee having awarded about the same amount of free-kicks to both teams, the corruption talk continues aplenty.
The league is corrupt to the bones. Shame on England.

That is 99% of the reason I hate the English Football Team and the FA.

I would hate for something so corrupt to do well on the world stage.
Just an honest mistake, it balances out, etc etc.

Seriously, how can we put up with this. On the verge of breaking down. If they did that fair and square, gutted, but feck it, it happens.

This is just pointless, it completely defeats the purpose of the sport.

Going heavy on the Whiskey before I fecking cut myself.

Utterly fecking waste of time

And they say the premier league isnt fixed. I watched that second half and Walton gave feck all, absoloutely feck all to Blackpool.

Thing is all this talk of corruption is either laughed off or put down to bitterness but lots of fans of differing clubs see it all the time, makes you wonder why nothing is ever done? It needs one of these super rich Chairmen like the shiek at City to threaten to sue the FA to get things done, they would shit their cacks.

*Sensible poster alert*
Hate all this corruption rubbish, we sound like bluenoses harping on about Clive Thomas 30 years ago. We get our fair share of dodgy decisions. While they are intimidated by the mancs, it's generally just poor refereeing.

Sensible poster rubbished.

You honestly think that football is the only multi billion pound industry in the world that isn't corrupt?

The brown paper envelope knows no bounds.

This is what I don´t get FOR YEARS!!! What the feck is wrong there. Only Rafa had the balls and the rest just happy with this corrupt shite. I cannot imagine something ever happen even near in germany. It´s unbelievable.

Someone asks for a summary of the referee's bad calls. Strangely, the only specific, incorrect one that actually suited United they are able to point to is the penalty incident. Note the added time is posted as proof of corruption even though it was beneficial to Blackpool. I guess the league is corrupt in favour of the Tangerines?

Disregarded blatant penalty, multiple disregarded fouls, an offside goal and 10 minutes of added time.

As the night draws to a close, the famous Scouse pride is on show.

I fecking hate those morons as much as I love this club.

And we didn't even have space for the outrage at Fergie praising Adam, the general confidence that they're gonna do us in March, the talk of how sweet it will be when Kenny knocks Fergie off his perch and the 10-15 posts predicting Holloway would blow the corruption wide open in his post-match interview before then turning on him when he says "it's not a case of big team v small team, it's a referee who happened to get a decision wrong on the night."

Oh, and TLW, supposedly the 'classier' Liverpool forum had allegations of corruption and disgusting slurs about our players and manager every second post too.

Just think of the amount of bitter Scousers that will go to bed tonight tossing and turning and muttering with visions of Gary Neville lifting the trophy in May. :D

They really love Charlie Adams, don't they?

Half the users call him Charlie like he is their own, some even call them 'our Charlie'

Some seem to think he is exactly what they need...it must be part of their 'resurgence' and our 'downfall'

Beware of Charlie Adams, he is our reaper

I pity them, I do

They're resorting to praising anyone playing us during the week, must have been sad to lay your hopes on total stranger week in week out.

How do Liverpool fans go on and on about corruption as one of the biggest clubs in the league(at least in the past)? They act like they're Stoke or City and are abused by the Big 4! It's absurd. I'm sure it was corruption that got Gerrard got sent off, right?

I find them thinking that SAF is losing sleep over Kenny being back at Liverpool absolutely hilarious.

Turn to Kopites Chapter 26. The King of the devil worshipers never trembles.

Yep...

Acting like twat with hope that we'll pay more than we should for him. Don't worry tho march isn't far away, and Mr Alex Ferguson will be pissing he's pants for the trip to anfield, Im looking forward to the press conference with King Kenny :D

It was nothing really, I basically just copied and basted the whole of every page, took out the about 3 comments that weren't ridiculously unhinged and then wrapped quote texts around it. It was also tremendously fun. I was giggling like a little schoolgirl all the way through.

I read that thread when I came home after watching the match at the local pub.

That really has to be the worst and most vile and idiotic matchday thread on RAWK concerning a United match I've ever seen. I struggle to come up with something worse than this one. They had an enormous meltdown when United trashed Roma but that thread was funny, this one is just sad.

Tbf, similar replies are made on here when our two rivals are playing one another and a thread asks who users want to win

Okay, maybe not career ending injuries, but injuries nonetheless

Tbf, it's rare, and when it does happen it's always followed by a litany of replies telling them to get fecked.

It was almost 50 pages long. After the match the mods on there realized how embarrassing the thread was and deleted it, unfortunately.

I could imagine what it was like, A truly great night and probably best match I ever went the atmosphere was amazing even better than Barca 2008 but obviously nothing beat reaching the final.

It's past being funny. It's just desperate and pathetic.

If/when Manchester United have a fall from grace I sincerely hope fans take it on the chin and don't end up like them. Vile, verminous filth.

I really don't think it's a RAWK only thing mate. I do genuinely think that if forums were around back in their heyday we'd have been very similar.

I used to be convinced 1-0 Liverpoool, Rush 90+3 was the result of some kind of Voodoo or black magic. It's always hard to accept your bitter rivals are just a lot better than you and that they win things on merit not because of something unfair.

No doubt, no doubt.

This is some next level shit though.

For anyone who thinks RAWK is alone. This was a comment on the match thread in the Guardian:

26 January 2011 12:53AM

I DO wish that Guardian and the others would STOP protecting/promoting the agenda of dinosaurs like the recently departed Grey of Sky and of course the Dark Lord himself of Old Trafford to have a pop at/cause trouble for Liverpool whenEVER possible just because of mainly insane jealousy, a burning need for revenge and sheer spite on mainly Alex Ferguson's part combined with THEIR fear of Ferguson's much hyped and really rather pathetic 'repurcussions' against ALL journalists who go after him or United.

The fact is THIS - Fergie did NOT say Charlie Adams Corners are "worth 10 million" mischeviously, cheekily, knowingly or any OTHER endearing term ending in "ly" from a man you see as a mischevious, jovial, warm and wise old manager and statesman of the game but who in actual FACT is THE most egostatical, ruthless, venomous megalomaniac ever seen since at least the days of Stalin. No - he didn't say THAT about Adam"mischeviously" at all - He said it to (as with EVERYTHING else he does) cause trouble, make life difficult for and hinder as far as possible the recovery of the ONE thing he hates, despises, fears and loathes above ALL others in the Football World - Liverpool FC and WHY did he say this?

Well THAT is rather more interesting Since I'm almost Certain he would not of said a Thing if jovial Roy Hodgson (another secretly rather nasty man - check his remarks to foreign journalists and on his OWN players at Anfield) was Still in charge at Anfield as he didn't regard Liverpool as remotely a threat with the ex-Fulham Chief in charge at Anfield. But Kenny Dalglish - or HIM as Ferguson once referred to him as in a televised exchange re' referees at Anfield in 1988 (oh the irony considering Kenny's first game in charge and the disgraceful refereeing of Peter Walton last night)? Well what do you think?

Replace someone at Liverpool whose only ever won Scandanavian League Titles and is No threat in England with THE one man whose won MORE League Titles here than ANY manager in the last nearly 3 decades barring Ferguson himself with 11; Well look at the facts - Dalglish has with regard to English titles? Four currently to his name - 3 with Liverpool themselves and was of course THE last man to bring a league title back to Anfield as manager and with 4 to his name (one of them at Blackburn - a minor miracle in itself), he has won more than Howard Wilkinson (1), Arsene Wenger (3), Jose Mourinho (2), Carlo Ancelotti (1), George Graham (2), Howard Kendall (2) and Joe Fagan (1) - ALL the managers in charge since Bob Paisley with 6 was at Anfield and thus stands second only to Alex Ferguson as THE best PROVEN manager currently working in the Premier League.

Anyway - Change Roy Hodgson for someone with THAT pedigree? And regardless of their current travails - Liverpool suddenly became something VERY different to Ferguson again - He was talking freely about us before and discussing Hodgson and our affairs non-stop RIGHT up until the day Roy was sacked - Now? That remark last night was the first time he's even ALLUDED to us in nearly 3 weeks - Why? Dalglish - That is why - LOOK at his record at Anfield when Ferguson started until February 1991. United never got NEAR Liverpool and before anyone says Dalglish inherited success?

Well consider, He built a whole new TEAM in 1987 after going from winning the Double to nothing AND he built Blackburn into reigning champions from the ground up inside around 4 seasons so he clearly has the pedigree and he's the ONE man I've seen other than Benitez who can sidestep or outmatch Ferguson in the 'mind games' department. Oh yes and? Dalglish WOULD have done for Newcastle what Keegan couldn't manage in 1996 as well If given time but he wasn't allowed that time. The man is almost a Scottish Mourinho and given time he WILL get Liverpool back to something like the old position Ferguson remembers them as being in before - As to Ferguson? I'm convinced he STILL has bad flashbacks to that time when he came here in 1986 and just could NOT get out from under the shadow of Liverpool wherever he turned - He alludes to it in his autobiography and he clearly HATES us and has ever since we dissected his Aberdeen side in the 1981 European Cup 5 - 0 on aggregate.

What's more - I think that he MIGHT have considered winning the league and giving up having passed us overall this season but the appointment of Dalglish? Has brought back ALL his old insecurities, hatred and paranoia regarding Liverpool and the shadow they once cast which is of course his basic reason for STILL being a manager and not long since retired off in Marbella or on the Costas somewhere. As for what Alex Ferguson does now? Well I think That Is anyones guess - I DO think that whatever that is though? It will almost certainly include causing trouble for Liverpool in any way, shape or form he possibly can and judging by tonight's remark from him? That process has already long since begun......................

And he followed it with this (for anyone who thinks it is a WUM):

Exmanc - I DESPISE Ferguson because he puts on one face that is quite clearly for Journalists/the media etc - consisting of Trying to appear as a jovial, warm, neutral elder statesman of the game whilst at the same time showing quite another to other people/groups; One hinting at and sometimes showing the bitter, vicious, venomous, angry being who REALLY lies behind the mask in his treatment of other clubs (re pulling back the players he loaned from Preston just because they sacked his son - sod the PLAYERS agreements - Preston sacked Fergie Jr - Thus? They must be punished) his 2 faced nature (remember him accusing Torres of diving in September to win a penalty at Old Trafford? Just WHAT did Berbatov do in Liverpool's next game there then? Nothing on that from him though) and of course his constant, unrelenting, continuous barrage against Liverpool who I support;

It's quite ironic that back in 1988 he had an on-air tantrum about "biased referees" at Anfield considering the unending TIDE of decisions that goes in Uniteds favour at Old Trafford now - And I don't just mean the obvious ones like penalties given to them or Red Cards to their foes either. I mean the ones that REALLY change games for teams that previously looked OK against United like yellow cards making players avoid tackles, endless amounts of corners, free-kicks and throw-ins that shouldn't be given but are and which we've lost to on at least One occasion - In September 2004 we lost to 2 Silvestre goals I think from a corner and free-kick that clearly weren't. Then there's his blatant hypocrisy - He's got the cheek to have a go at other teams, managers or whoever else is in his cross hairs in the media - yet he then goes off on one and threatens to BAN said media if THEY ever go after HIM; As well as his unending attempts to influence, intimidate or just plain ban referees he doesn't like or who stand up to him from OT. His recent non-stop talk of Liverpool and what we shouldn't do re Roy Hodgson was quite loud to no? Then? His oldest and most hated foe returns as our manager and? Not a flicker until last night.

Oh and to the fool who called Dalglish a 'dinosaur' or whatever else you TRIED to call him? A) Spell it right and B)? Check the stat's - Kenny Dalglish as a manager has won MORE English league titles than ANY manager here other than Ferguson since Bob Paisley retired Waaay back in 1983 so just WHY is he a managerial dinosaur? Consider what he's done since coming back - I believe his hiring of Steve Clarke and achieving his first away win at the second attempt whereas it took Good Old Uncle Woy FIVE games and 3 defeats (2 of them utterly inept) away from home before his ONLY away win in charge of Liverpool? Well, I think those stats rather torpedo that sorry attempt at an 'argument' no?

As to Kenny conducting our transfer business/internal affairs behind closed doors with the OLD "Liverpool Way"? Well let's just say I Much prefer that to the Owlish Woy's constant attempts to say "come and get him" re Torres to the likes of United or Chelsea implying that we are just a selling club and nothing more - I also prefer the current regime's method to Roy's constant slating of his players - rather than his OWN 'dinosaur' like tactics (they WERE prehistoric) when he frequently had to explain away defeats and I downright despised his constant defence of his 'prize' job as if the Liverpool job was a reward rather than a job thanks to his LMA award.

Then there was Roy's regular, ridiculous pronouncements like a win at Everton being "utopia" despite winning something like 8 of our last 10 games at Goodison Park including 3 in a row before last October, winning at Old Trafford in the FA Cup being a "remarkable coup" despite us having 4 wins there in the last decade AND us beating United the last time we played them in the FA Cup - And of course Northampton Town being "formidable opponents" at Anfield despite them being 2 divisions below us. No I think I MUCH prefer the new way of doing things - Incidentally re the Adam transfer and Ferguson's pathetic attempt at a windup? I think the silence from Anfield might have unnerved even HIM as well (it certainly has Blackpool's hierarchy - THEY haven't shut up about Adam and their chairman's acted rather an idiot in the last few days). Anyway, why mention Charlie Adam with regards to a transfer fee otherwise? It's not like United NEED him is it? Which means Ferguson can only have said what he did for ONE reason and one reason only which was? Guess.

No I much prefer Liverpool being in the hands of a man who not only CAN win the league title in England but has PROVEN It on 4 separate occasions - 3 of them AT Anfield. A man who as a team-builder nearly always gets it right sooner or later. Rather like another certain acerbic, secretive Scot from Glasgow not to far from Anfield down the M62 no? THAT is why Ferguson's gone quiet on LFC - who knows? Maybe with good reason..........

 I love the way Fergie is able to keep bribing everybody with total impunity, even when two of his PL rivals are multi-billionaires.

HAHAHA, oh Mr. Ferguson what is your massive half time plan going to be then?

That'll be, 'Come from behind and win 3-2, putting us 5 points clear of Arsenal, 10 clear of Chelsea, and, er, 22 clear of you... in mid-January'.

When did the money change hands to prevent the ref from giving the pen then?

Was that full time?

That is genuine comedy gold

That is genuine comedy gold

Laying down for Arsenal, City and Chelsea in their games to come and then beating us at Anfield is all they really have to look forward to now though really.

There'll be plenty on there hoping that they lose any match which helps our rivals and then beating us to help someone else finish above us.

That's the one thing I could never do. Wish for United to lose any game no matter how it helped deprive a rival. I wouldn't like the consequences, but I'd be proud of the integrity. Nothing like the shameful backpass that gifted Chelsea the opening goal at Anfield last season and ensured they kept the title in their own hands, which many Liverpool fans were pleased about.

Saw someone mention it in the United forum so just had a quick look, a few saying it's a shame his head wasn't knocked off his shoulders and then later in the thread someone questioned the injury time asking 'was there a serious injury?' and someone replied saying 'no, unfortunately Rafael wasn't seriously injured'.

It's beyond me how anyone can think like that, it really is.

Heard that said about players by alot of folk following alot of sides.

I don't see why it bothers folk so much anyway. feck em.

The ref made this decision whilst we were 2-0 DOWN, we still had to score THREE goals to win. There is probably no point in trying to explain this to you.

If you've asked any Liverpool supporter before the match would they take Blackpool lead 2:0 till 70th minute with denied penalty, doubt there would be even one that wouldn't. From posts over there looks like we've been granted with victory, they didn't get penalty so we decided to score 3 goals past them and win. If only football was so simple.

Okay, maybe not career ending injuries, but injuries nonetheless

When I can't watch the match, I'll usually just have 2-3 match threads perpetually reloading, including sometimes the caf (sometimes your lot are quicker with updates on the big events in the game).

Unsurprisingly, we always seem to play like utter dogshit in the eyes of the caf, the opposition tends to play well but not getting much out of their efforts and whatever wins we get are scraped and rarely deserved.

Football match threads in general are just the sewers of the internet. As bad as /b/ on 4chan.

I don't know, maybe I'm too kind or something.
