No Hodgeson?? I thought It was all his fault, 91 onwards that is.
So much fun reading that thread. I love how it evolves going from the super dream team into a state of worry and confusion, followed by denial and finished off with bolts of utter rage

Bad comparison? Ronaldo didn't move to a direct opponent within the league. I promise you our reactions would have been different if he had moved to Arsenal or Chelsea.
But I can see where you are coming from. They are hugely overreacting. Firstly, it's only football. Secondly, Torres did what he had to do. He was willing to spend his career there and gave the Liverpool management many chances to improve the club. He only left when he saw nothing would change at Anfield in the next few yours. We often talk about Giggs' or Scholes' loyalty and they are my football heroes and always will be. But let's be honest for a minute - it's easy to stay loyal if you win constantly titles.
You can't blame Torres for leaving, even from a Liverpool fan point. What they could blame him for is his style - no goodbye message to the fans who used to adore him, instead bigging Chelsea up and belittling Liverpool fans. I laugh at them because fortunately we are not in their position but if I was them I'd be fuming due to that two points. They really don't deserve this, given they treated him like the God of Liverpool.
The last one is brilliant. "fecking Spanish bastard, may your dog die of cancer you cnut."
For the whole day I've been telling everyone how I compare Torres leaving Liverpool FC to to Chelsea....to when my ex-girlfriend broke up with me to go back with her previous ex....on Valentine's Day!!
Same scenario. Didn't expect it coming. She was loyal all the time. Then goes back with her ex from 2 years back. Bad timing as well. All like Torres.
But I remember getting over it and thinking if she doesn't want to be with me, then stuff the relationship. Same with Torres.
I was gonna boo him all the way from Australia via my monitor + SopCast. But after reading some words of wisdom here, I will probably not react to him at all. I will be cheering our boys on instead.
(If only I could put the volume of Sopcast so high - in the wee hours of the morning - so that I could sing like everyone in the crowd!! Unfortunately, my family would just come banging in on my door. I guess I'll just exclaim and smile in silence to show support!
"Unbelievable. One day I'm gonna tell my kids I posted on the first few pages in the Andy Carroll signing for Liverpool thread. Unbelievable fee. Massive sign of intent. Beast of a player. The list goes on, but let's stop at: Welcome to the greatest club in the world Kid, do your best. You have some fecking shoes to fill if Nando leaves. "
I think it's unhealthy to always find a way to warp reality.ffs, this is sad.Somebody should call some psychiatrists and help those poor souls.
One can't seriously be this fecking stupid, I refuse to believe that

For some reason Dunne's blatant clattering of Nani seems not to have elicited the same reaction on RAWK as Rafael's blatant clattering Varney.
Must be something about the light...
How low life is it to have songs prepared for players who haven't even kicked off a ball yet ?
Same fans, same mentality, different player.

Honestly, the attitude of Liverpool fans over yesterdays affairs is just pissing me off now; it's like they can't accept when they have been conned. I was looking forward to gloating and mocking them today over what could only unaminously be described as an extortionate fee for Carroll, and yet every scouser I see is convinced that they have actually gotten a good deal from yesterday. Bloody scousers.
Shit living room.
Probably because it's a bedroom.
