If Arsenal had won in a convincing fashion, I'd have been convinced we'd drop points but after Arsenal feck up like this, I am convinced the lads would be galvanised by Arsenal's misfortunes to get a result. I reckon we're going to win big.

Delighted with that team.

Subs: TK, Owen, Ando, Scholes, O'Shea, Evans, Chico

with park, valencia, smalling and Fabio all on the fringes, we have alot of strength in depth right now just as the games will come thick and fast. falling into place nicely.

ESPN saying Rio is injured and Evans will play instead.

With today's win we have seven points more than Arsenal... that's really huge amount, with 13 matches to the end of the season.

And hopefully tomorrow's Chewsea draw (or loss, but it would mean Liverpool's six) would give us 12 points more than Chewsea.

What news on Rio? Did he get injured during the warm up or did they just get the lineups wrong first time around?

Internationals mid-week. Maybe that's the answer of Rio's injury.

Evans was looking good last time he played.

I remember how Fergie said some weeks ago that lad finally looks good, as he used to. So I'm not surprised it's him not Smalling to replace Ferdinand.

Hopefully it's nothing serious and we'll see Rio against City.

I want to laugh at Arsenal, but I'm gonna wait until FT, before tempting fate. No one could have predicted that result, last season we had similar opportunities a number of a times, and never took advantage.

I hope we come out on fire, and get the job done tonight.

I expected Rio to pick up a "knock" after the game but not before it :(

Appears to have been an injury in the warm-up. Hopefully nothing serious.

You just absolutely know this match will be terrible after the afternoon we've had.

We just can't feck it up. Wow, very excited with this game after Gunners' result.

Come on lads!

If we can win, and those bin dippers do us a favour tomorrow this could be an awesome weekend

That Sylvania advert appears to have nicked The Bill theme tune.
