Good not to start Valencia, would never happen as some of you would have thought going by the line up guess.

Lucho
Gignac
Remy
Mbia
Heinze
André Ayew
Diawara
Fanni

Subs:

Andrade
Hilton
Cissé
Kabore
Ayew
Abriel
Valbuena

Disappointed that there is no Vidic, great to see Nani back in the team and I'm glad SAF has gone with Rooney-Hernandez up-front.

Yeah Europe is less important this year to me. The league is clearly the priority. BUT you never know when our form in Europe goes to bits, you can't take your place in football for granted. We are enjoying a great two decades at the top of English football and lets make the most of it.

Besides, you never how the competition opens up for you. Last year we were just a step away from the final.

Good team , expecting a good match.
My only concern is playing Nani so so after a really bad gash.
Glad he is playing , but there is a chance he could get a kick on the cut and it open up and he be out for important PL games.

Carrick/Scholes CM frightens me if L'OM end up playing with a lot of energy in the middle of the park. Carrick is they key for me - if he can some play with a bit more fire than his normal laid back self, will make a big difference.

:(

I think losing Vidic could cost us BIG TIME.

I remember the 3-0 defeat in Milan where an injured Vidic was exposed. So my mind is clearly off Big Time at the moment.

If Brown is struggling he could at least swap with O'Shea I guess.

Never seen so many people on here so pessimistic before a home game in the CL?
We will stuff them 3-0. Giggs, Rooney x 2.

After the game I'll hopefully be able to say "Than Nani owned that Fanni"
