SAF is so desperate to win the CL again he has made too many changes for this game. I dont understand as we have a better chance of winning the EPl than the CL so its a strange decision.

He got up straight away and didn't appeal because it was likely he himself was embarrassed by it.
 
Why Fergie doesn't change it up as soon as we're two all down is beyond me. He clearly got the team wrong, and even if we're down because of defensive feck-ups, the players out there simply aren't going to do the job.

Gutted.
 
They haven't created anything. Two penalties. We've been the better team apart from that with Valencia the best player on the park.
 
Dictating the game but I should hope so with 5 in the mid against west ham! Without Nani we are toothless. Why we are resting players for a trophy we can't win is beyond me. Lose today and I would make Chelsea favouritres.

Get Nani and berbatov on and take Gibson and either park or giggs off.

It's one of the most stupid lineup decision I've seen this season leaving Berbatov on the bench. There's absolutely no excuse for it.

Start Gibson. Ok. Better have Park there as well to compensate for his lack of defensive abilities. But he hasn't played in almost two months? Doesn't matter. But what about creativity with no Nani or Berbatov? It's West Ham. When have they ever been trouble at Upton Park...
 
Evra penalty was harsh. Point blank range.

I suppose the argument is "why were his hands up?" Well, he'd just brushed past Cole, and had his hands up in the "I'm not fouling him" way, and Cole smashed the ball into his hand.

Then again, I think Vidic was fortunate not to have been sent off. I think Smalling was just about close enough to count as cover.

We're playing so much better than them though, but we just need to make it count. The way we're playing is crying out for Berbatov (height) or Chicharito (heading ability). Get one of them on for Giggs, and play a 4-4-2 with Park on the left.

One really annoying thing about Gibson and Carrick playing together is I'm never quite sure which one I'm angry with. Oh, and if I see one more short corner when we've got Vidic and Smalling in the box, I will personally send a strongly worded e-mail to Old Trafford demanding that we sell Giggs to Wigan.
 
Valencia has had Bridge beaten all ends up but no one is getting across the West Ham defenders to get to the ball first when he puts it in, we need Hernandez on.

No argument on either penalty, very sloppy from Evra and Vidic.
 
Could really have used Hernandez' poacher instincts with all the balls we drilled into the box this half.

West Ham have given us a lot off room and we should really have done better in the final third.
 
Believe it or not, we actually didn't play that bad in the first half. Two penalties is the reason we are losing, other than that West Ham haven't really been in the match. I still believe they are there for the taking if we make changes and get an early goal in the 2nd half.

They'll be moaning about Vidic only getting a yellow card, I don't think it was a red.

Nani and Chicharito on please.

I am mad at the defenders. makeshift back 5 and the two experienced players, our captain the the guy who captained us in the last game, have shockers.
Where is the leadership.

We were also 2-0 down against West Ham earlier this season and lost 4-0. Stop calling people cnuts for being obviously negative about the situation.

Cahill was sliding and his arm was in the air as a consequence, Evra raised his hands as an instinct when Cole played the ball above him.
 
I'm still optimistic we can win this, we've had our fair share of chances and 11 or so corners sums up our dominance in their half.

We get Hernandez in and he just might make something of those chances that the likes of Valencia are in no shortage of making.

I can't even be bothered to have a proper moan about that first half. Just hope we get one quick and I'm confident we can atleast pull a draw out.
 
Replays show 2nd penalty was just outside the box and ref had a perfect view in line of it.

Not surprised really. I've no complaints about the first one, but the second one is just bollocks. Should have been a freekick just outside the area.

You'd expect people to not be claiming the league to be over, worst team ever, blah blah fecking blah with 45 minutes left in a game.

difference is Blackpool didn't sit back and defend their lead as they should've done. West Ham will and they're going to win.
 
I can't belive we are giving the 1st half away, they have 3 chances and get two goals, we have everything else and scores 0.
