How does this fit in with their conspiracy theories though? Did we get him a ban on purpose, to make our victory more believable?

Fergie has exchanged Rooney's ban for more favourable calls.

The recession has hurt everyone... Fergie now needs to exchange things in order to get favours. He used to get them for free when Liverpool challenged us for the title.

Yeh but give him time, the way you lot went on about Hodgson ruining the club, it will take him a while to sort things out, no?

Or maybe Hodgson wasnt that bad...

Managers do need time and some hiccups are to be expected. That was the case when Rafa joined, when roy joined and likewise for Kenny.

Roy got less time because he wasn't hiccuping. More like vomiting out results. And there was never really any indication that the end product would ever be worth the while.

Basically, I consider our form under Kenny so far has been one of a positive project of improvement on what went before, with its fair share of hiccups along the way, totalling up to a good point tally so far and overall satisfactory run all things considered.

We'll need to iron out the worst next season. A game like the one vs West Ham is just not on. Like so many under Roy, it wasn't just the defeat but the manner of it.

Poirot is on and I'm not in the mood, love. go troll someone else.

Actually, honest question. You repeatedly said Hodgson played people out of position and specifically mentioned Meireles several times.

I guess your lack of response says it all.

"I thought Kenny knew where to play everyone?"

Where is the genuine question? You cooked up a strawman and are now all surprised that I am not playing along.

Hey, you were the one crowing on and on about Kenny figuring out right away the best positions for players - particularly Meireles. That was one of your big talking points.

Now Kenny has him playing out of position.

I understand if you don't want to give an explanation but just say so instead of having this needless back and forth.

I honestly have no idea what you are on about, my dear.

You seem to be labouring under the delusion that I have somewhere claimed that Kenny is infallible or even the best possible man for the job.

Can Kenny piss the board off so much in the next seven games that he doesn't get taken on and Rafa gets reappointed at the behest of the fans?

That would be my dream scenario

Kenny Dalglish is a tramp and I'd love to see him get the boot after doing poor next season and the fans calling for his head. Would be up there with Shearer taking Newcastle down. Sick to death of all the commentators address him 'King Kenny'.

What's his win/loss record like in the Premiership since he took over? Really with potentially no Europe there is no excuses for them not having a good go at the domestic competitions. I mean they have a £50m+ strike force after all.

interesting quotes from Kenny today, something along the lines off "we have Carroll, he's good in the air, why shouldn't we play direct to his strengths?"

errr...because its not the "Liverpool way" Kenny. Surely you know that? You know, you understanding the fans and all that

KD is not a top class manager. He will steady the ship, nothing more

I decided to analyse his tenure so far, in the other thread, because I got sick of everyone being fed bullshit from the resident scousers.

If you actually look at all Kenny's games in charge you start to wonder what planet people like B9 are living on.

Jan 9 FT Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool 74,727 FA Cup Poor result, poor performance
Jan 12 FT Blackpool 2-1 Liverpool 16,089 Premier League Poor result, poor performance
Jan 16 FT Liverpool 2-2 Everton 44,795 Premier League Poor result, poor performance
Jan 22 FT Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-3 Liverpool 28,869 Premier League Good result, good performance
Jan 26 FT Liverpool 1-0 Fulham 40,466 Premier League Good result, poor performance
Feb 2 FT Liverpool 2-0 Stoke City 40,254 Premier League Good result, good performance
Feb 6 FT Chelsea 0-1 Liverpool 41,829 Premier League Good result, good performance
Feb 12 FT Liverpool 1-1 Wigan Athletic 44,609 Premier League Poor result, poor performance
Feb 17 FT Sparta Prague 0-0 Liverpool 17,564 Europa League (Second Round) Poor result, poor performance
Feb 24 FT Liverpool 1-0 Sparta Prague 42,949 Europa League (Second Round) Good result, poor performance
Feb 27 FT West Ham United 3-1 Liverpool 34,941 Premier League Poor result, poor performance
Mar 6 FT Liverpool 3-1 Manchester United 44,753 Premier League Good result, good performance
Mar 10 FT Braga 1-0 Liverpool 12,991 Europa League (Third Round) Poor result, poor performance
Mar 17 FT Liverpool 0-0 Braga 37,494 Europa League (Third Round) Poor result, poor performance
Mar 20 FT Sunderland 0-2 Liverpool 47,207 Premier League Good result, good performance
Apr 2 FT West Bromwich Albion 2-1 Liverpool 26,196 Premier Poor result, poor performance

Out of 16 games, the majority (9) have been poor results.

That leaves just 7 good results, only 5 of which were actually good performances (even die-hard Liverpool fans would concede that the wins against Fulham and Sparta were pretty pathetic)

So 11 poor performances out of 16 basically, including a tendency to regress to archaic football.

Deluded.

Not at all. Never said that.

It's simply one thing. Correct positioning of players. It's nothing else, no matter how much you want to avoid it, there it is.

Yard offside, but it's Manchester they do what they want.

this season can't end soon enough

It's a fecking joke how that red nose twat can say yernited don't get any decisions go their way

I'm surprised by the lack of reaction by different sporting websites about Berbatov's offside goal. When Birmingham scored that goal (which wasn't offside) all the websites were screaming about the injustice, but now ... pathetic.

Complete torture, every weekend is torture these days, everything going the way we don't want it to.

Another shit week!

feck sake.

I know I will get slated for this, but I'm actually enjoying watch MU play. Sometimes I can't stand to watching them, but now that it doesn't really affect us to much with their result, watching the creativity in their front line is entertaining. Although I'd be much more entertained if Fulham were up 3-0

Oh hodgson I hate you. What is with that... as soon as he goes to West Brom he goes on some big unbeaten run, looks like his 2nd away win in as many matches, and beating us. Always had to happen didn't it

Thanks Roy, after dragging us towards relegation you regain a Midas touch at WBA. Twat.

Hodgson can feck right off. Owl-faced nimrod.

Truth be told, its a bit annoying that Hodgson is doing well. It just adds further fuel to those media twats who criticised us for getting rid.

WBA are only 6 points behind us, and Everton 1. Our season could get alot worse.

tbh even if we finish 17th am not arsed going from the start of the season to where we are now is huge

we have got rid of the cancers and now have a team of players who want to play he here

roll on next season :)

Just a smattering from today's Premier League thread.

I assume this post is about the handball assist that Bham got away with vs us, someone should explain that the injustice for that was just because it shouldnt have stood. It wasnt exactly a offside decision that could go either way - he used his fecking hand!

feck I'd hate to work at the Merseyside Samaritans office. They must be busy these days talking bindippers off of ledges.

On the other hand it might be fun telling them to just do it.

RAWK said:
"Roy Hodgson has achieved more points per game in the league at West Brom than Dalglish has at Liverpool, 1.85 to 1.81. And that's just the league, which has been by far Dalglish's best area of performance for Liverpool."

Congrats Geeky Mcgee. You have been quoted on RAWK. :)

Just saw a thread for David Fairclough's wife, who has passed away from a brain haemorrhage. I used to work in a shop near her and served her loads of times. She was a very nice woman and used to pass the time of day with me when she came in. He was very friendly as well. Big shock for him. Sad news indeed.

I love how Hodgson doing well at WBA is just to spite them rather than the fact that he is a decent (but not top drawer) manager who is performing better now he hasn't got thousands of deluded scousers constantly criticising him and failing to even give him half a chance.

It's a bit like how when Rafa did shite at Inter, according to RAWK it was because the Inter players deliberately wanted to make him look bad rather than because he's just not that great a manager

I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Come on, tell me you made that up. That's insane, even by their standards.

Rafael Benítez

lol, ! well respect for doing that, the RAWK, as we call it is by far the biggest and most popular out of all the forums, and believe me we have quite a few !! the RAWK is also rafa's biggest supporter, alongside the tomkin times (paul tomkins great author, journalist, big rafa fan.) his site is actually a premium site, you have to pay to blog £3.50 per month, and all the forumites that are members some 2000+ are willing to pay to read, write and hear about rafa and liverpool, which is a great credit to benitez because not many fans will do that about footballers especially managers, also with the amount of forums we have, we all got united behind the drive to get rid of gillett and hicks, and after 3 years we managed to do it, which proves 1 thing football clubs do not exist without fans, and the true owners of football clubs are the fans and no body else... and we have a group called the spirit of shankly (formed initially because of rafa's treatment.) which is a LFC supporters union, with 50,000 members and an annual membership fee, that wants to buy an equity stake at the club to prevent future ownership problems, i can see all the top clubs in the future being owned and financially managed by supporters , it is the only way to preserve our inheritance to pass on to our kids and grandchildren..... my prediction tonight, any scrappy win , just get the points and move on...

This is so spot on that it ought to be posted in every football forum and media outlet on the planet.
