Newcastle United vs. Manchester United

Still in the drivers seat but why give Arsenal unnecessary hope? If Arsenal win tomorrow it's going to be bloody nervy an end. Giggs how could you miss?! :(

Good result. Another away game down and we maintain the lead over Arsenal. I would have been overjoyed if someone told me Arsenal wouldn’t gain any ground this week.

We now have three home and two away, the Gunners have two home and four away. Despite drawing tonight we are nearer the title than three days ago.

Don't understand where this hooding it forward shit is supposed to get us. Too many wasted chances AGAIN (can't even blame Berbatov)

Spurs better pull their fingers out tomorrow night.

Manchester United welcome back Arsenal and Chelsea in the title race, fecking fantastic..

It isn't a good result.

Arsenal? Yes. Chelsea? Really?
chelsea has 3 home games in a row and could only be 6 points behind us after tomorrow if they beat mighty Birmingham at home. And we still has to go to Emirates and then Chelsea play us at OT.

In context, it's a decent result I guess in a sense Arsenal drew against Liverpool as well. Four points with five games to go, good position to be in.

Our away record really is shockingly bad. A draw at Arsenal would be great but I don't really have much hopes of beating Blackburn at Ewood. We're just a different team away from home.

Giggs should've scored, Rooney should have scored as well, Hernandez's effort was just an incredible save by their keeper. Had enough chances, just didn't go in today. Smalling & Vidic were immense.

Hopefully Brum & Spurs do us a favour tomorrow.

Decent result, not the disaster people are making it out to be.

Arsenal got 1 point in 2 matches vs this Newcastle. Chelsea lost their one match against them so far. Far from a disaster.

Good wins for Arsenal and Chelsea though.
Ehm, of course Arsenal and Chelsea will get a boost from this. Still unlikely that chelsea are back in it? And where is our win you said we would get today? You are wrong again.

McManaman is such a cnut. He's still harping on the Anderson penalty incident but not the others. Of course he disagrees with Darke concerning the Tiote clear handball (Darke says pen, McManaman says no).

Such a biased twat.

Not a very good performance at all, I thought Hernandez was superb despite no great service, but we were way too sloppy and lacked invention in the final third.

I said with 20 mins to go that it'd end up 0-0, it just had that frustrating feel about it.

I'm literally shaking with frustration here. I know it's not the worst result in the world, and we can afford to drop a point or two but that was frustrating as feck to watch. Possession and play was good, but in the final 3rd it was just pure piss.

A draw isn't the worst result, but I wanted the win. I want this race over as soon as possible, and results like this will only make it harder for ourselves and give hope to Arsenal (and quite possibly Chelsea).

Well I thought Newcastle were negative after the first 20mins. Very happy to settle for a point after that period. That's why they will remain a mid table club at best if they are not going to show some ambition.

Just lacked that killer past tonight, but the pressure is on Arsenal to win, a point and we are back to square one with one game less.

Should have given Lovenkrands a pen, should have also booked him for pulling back Carrick. Should have let play go on after Hernandez went down and there's probably more he should have done.

Agree with all that mate, apart from the good result comment. It was a disappointing result, let's be honest but at the same time hardly a disaster.

Newcastle made it hard for us, credit has to go to them.We had a couple of great chances but i don't feel we threw 3 points away, considering we didn't really play that well.

Our home form should still see us through, so come on the Spuds tomorrow night!

fecking average from everyone.. Even Rooney showed his form from fall in this one.. Everton is even tougher to beat but luckily the games at home.

All 3 penalties should have been given. We missed several sitters and can only blame ourselves for that. Shit performance from the side.

We looked average.

Don't think I've seen an opponent team go down with as many head 'injuries' as they did tonight. We didn't utilise Valencia well enough when he came on and well, the ref had a fecking nightmare, for both sides. How the feck he didn't book Lovenkrands for his foul on Carrick summed the cnut up.
