It has been poor finishing from us, but its poor finishing for a reason. We've been put off in one on one situations because Neuer spreads himself and makes himself a large obstacle, like the great dane used to. This is what Neuer is best at.

Our finishing over the last 5 games has been laughably bad. What on earth has happened to us?! Brilliant football but just can't finish.

Quite shocking profligacy in front of goal for a team in the last 4 of the champions league. It's by no way an exaggeration that we should be at least 0-3 up against team who looked like rabbits of floodlights for the first 30 mins.
Shalke will reorganise in the 2nd half and we will not get anywhere near as many chances. I just hope we have not lost the tie because of the dismal quality of our finishing. This has shades od Dortmund, Porto and Munich all over it it.

Agree, dunno what's the problem. The lads might be sloppy as the difference in class is beoynd belief when you consider this is a CL semifinal. SAF will sort 'em (I hope)

Got to score before half time, otherwise all this great play will have been for nothing. In Europe you have to score when you're on top, Schalke don't create much but they usually take their chances when they get them.
