Schalke vs Manchester United

Looking forward to another classico now
I'm certain Jose will do his best to make it as boring as possible

Great result. Even better performance
Brilliant
FT

YES. FT.

Brilliant result, should have been more though!

Get in!

Great result, great performance.

FT.

Phew, glad to get that over with. The scoreline flattered us, good job we rode our luck and somehow managed to steal two goals against the grain.

Get fecking in! Job nearly done, can't see them coming and scoring 3 goals.

I do wish it'd been more though, I'd have loved 3-4 nil. That would have completely put it to bed. I think we're nearly there though, they were awful tonight.

Neuer tried his best but Giggsy & Rooney were more than up to the test.. on to Wembley we go and await the feckin winners of El Clasico!!

As comprehensive a win as you will ever see in the UCL Semi Final. Two away goal lead coming back to Old Trafford.

3rd Champions League final in 4 years for us and it should be 4! It's fair to say Fergie knows his way around this competition now.

An excellent win; some lovely performances, especially in the middle of the park. It's great to see Valencia back and really beginning to purr. Carrick too was so composed - there were no weak links which, in a semi, is quite an achievement as you can only beat who is in front of you (even when they are trying to do their impression of being part-timers). My only concern is the ratio of chances to goals. If we were that profligate in the PL, it might be a very different story. Still, all in all, great stuff.

Great performance, great result. Can't say I expected it to be so easy but it really was. Rooney absolutely ran the game, while Giggs, Carrick, Valencia and Fabio all pit in superb shifts as well. Delighted.

Fantastic result & comfortable performance. Felt like a training session, Carrick was given too much freedom & both he and Giggs dominated the midfield. The defence did well when called upon & the Rooney-Hernandez partnership continues to flourish. Credit also to the referee who did well and didn't stop the game for every little tackle.

Neuer was immense for them, first time I've seen him play & I really would like him at OT but that's unlikely to happen.

Have we set another CL record by going the entire campaign without conceding an away goal?

I wouldn't read too much into Fergie and Neuer, I think it's just Fergie recognising a player that played very well and will be disappointed to be let down by his team mates.
