Arsenal vs. Manchester United

Souness makes a good point about Arsenals midifeld - who exactly is going to sit back there? I feel there's goals on the counter for us today. Even if they score if we stick with the plan opportunities will come

Song?

So business as usual for us at the emirates then ?

Yes however in all games we've got something we've scored first. It'd be interesting to see how our gameplan pans out if they were to get infront.

Fabregas got a kick in the thigh in training. Wonder who it was.

Arsenal's record at home is poor but so is our away form. Reckon this will be a draw really.

Song probably.

Dissapointed that Gibbo isn't given a chance, but otherwise a good team. Hopefully our players from Shalke have recovered.

I'm not TBH. When Gibson first broke through, I liked what I saw. I always had Fletch in mind, and I thought Gibson could be the same.

But anytime I've saw him lately, he hasn't inspired much confidence I have to say.

right lads lets have your predictions

im saying united win... 1-3

Away wins in big games against Chelsea and Schalke(unbeaten at home in CL before Tuesday) in recent weeks shows it's not unlikely with a win today though.

That enough to protect a weak back 4 with Nani Park Hernandez and Roo bombing forward? We appear on paper to have more protection in there.

Wilshire will buzz around but there will be space for United if Arsenal push forward.

Yeah, and Arsenal 2 wins in 10 games, makes them clear favorites there...

1-1 or 4-0 to us. Depends which Arsenal shows up.

I hope this is Arsenal's cup final, they don't tend to win them.

Ah shit we are all getting too confident:nervous:

I'm confident but also shitting it

Awesome performances like Shalke, West Ham and Chelsea are in my mind as are the frustrating ones like Newcastle...and the horror show vs Liverpool. Dont quite know what to expect. I'll guess a draw.

He's being rested for the main event on Wednesday.

I'm glad. Rafael has worked his way into the first team and looks like he's going to be our 1st choice RB for years, but Fabio has always been on the fringes of it. He needs to show he can take over from Evra in time. Bring him up to that level too.

Me too, he's such a talent and you can see the benefit regular games are having on him. I do think as he progresses he will end up playing in a more forward role.

Yes and their cup finals work out well for them, dont they ? Teehee.

It's their cup final without the pressure. It's what makes it more frightening. If there was something at stake then they'd blow it, but there's nothing to play for, not even and emirates cup. Arsenal are fantastic when there's no pressure on them.

Missing the game today due to family function. It's way worse not seeing what's going on than watching the bloody game. Come on united!

I'm going to one of those too after the game. Mum not pleased:nervous:
