In all major rivalries each team has strengths and achievements that they'll point too over their rivals...If we were to win the European cup, as a football club what would Liverpool have over us? Genuine question because I'm struggling here. In terms of trophy achievements we'd be level (We don't count the FA cup- it doesn't exist) You can understand their desperation in us not winning the european cup because as it stands, it's all they have left.
They know that they are a good United month away from Fergie needing one more European Cup to over take every single record their club has.
Two more European Cups and one more League title from this position is looking VERY doable before Fergie retires.

Every time we get a win I am further comforted by the thought of several thousand despairing scousers. Number 19 will be a beautiful, beautiful thing.
I don't think we give a shit about their claim 18-5 as of today, we haven't got 19 but they're not the most succesfull club in britain's isle, they know it as much as we do deep inside that their glory is way past.

Yep you are right Lynk but that's RAWK these days, they all support Chelsea, Arsenal, Inter and Barcelona.
Very sad that they can't actually get behind their own team in the big domestic and European competitions anymore but when you not competing I guess you've gotta have some fun elsewhere. But it's probably Roy Hodgson's fault that they're fighting for a Europa League spot, they do have short memories you know, it wasn't fat man's fault that they fecked up achieving real European football this season, OOOOH NOOO!

Interestingly, all the Everton fans I've met have been extremely bitter. Not just about Liverpool, but they all think there's a big club conspiracy to stop them doing well, and they think they get the worst decisions of anyone in the top flight, in my experience. Strange bunch.
I've only ever met one Evertonian and he was a decent bloke who knew his football and respected Liverpool's past. But that's what it is, the past. Them feckers won't move on...
