Manchester United vs. Blackpool

Blackburn were so disgraceful in the way that they allowed us to keep the ball in the last 10 minutes without any pressure whatsoever that, if it is between Blackburn and Blackpool to go down then I would rather it be Blackburn.

Fergie himself said he won't be resting anyone for two weeks, he doesn't want to make the same mistake twice and I wouldn't expect any of the above to play in Neville's testimonial.

More chance of most of them playing in the testimonial tbh, Fergie said the players have 2 weeks off back in 09 was a bad thing, there's a difference between doing that and playing them against a team fighting for their lives

Play them in the testimonial where there wont be a tackle or risk of injury imo
 
3-1 United, unfortunely as much as I like Blackpool I think we might relegate em.

If a shadow side can win a champions league semi-final 4-1 then it can surely beat Blackpool.

I can't say I agree with the likes of Obertan, Pogba and Morrison being in the starting 11, but I do agree with VDS getting substituted - It would be great for him

A day of mixed emotions. Title celebration but also (possibly) bidding farewell to the likes of Scholes and Edwin. Both are are outstanding examples of professionalism on and off the pitch.

And MUFCGal's squad looks a good-un for the starting 11.

I think I might shed a tear after the match, seeing Edwin for the last time at OT and especially if he says a few words to the fans :(
 
I would not be that bothered if we lost and Blackpool stayed up , we need teams like Blackpool in the PL , adds some spice to it , you never know what they are going to do.
We know its not going to be a full side out but they are in the 25 man squad so I dont see the problem with the FA.
The team that is put out should be able to win and win well.

Last time I shed a tear on the final day of any league season was the home loss to Derby a good few seasons ago. Not a clue why, I just remember it now. Definately will be that emotional though. Edwin always has great interactions with the crowd. Pulling faces and waving at the fans when they sing his name. He is a top character. No words can account for Scholes really.

Scary to think that the last person of the original "Fergie babes" could be just Giggs next season. I grew up with these lads plastered all over my bedroom wall.......feck.

I'd like Scholes to start and be substituted along with VDS so they both get individual recognition from the fans in what is likely to be both players last ever professional game at Old Trafford.

The testimonial will be played about the same pace as a training match. It's no different than a normal training session in that sense. I doubt the anticipated starting XI will play more than 45 minutes. So they're basically facing a two week layoff again.

I'd be happy to see Blackpool stay up but not at the expense of us losing and therefore losing our home record as well, no way.
 
We're not like the scouse twats who would try to influence the league (and gifting points to teams) in some way or another... it's our last PL game at OT ffs! Let's show some respect by giving our everything to win a difficult game at home and lift the title in front of our fans!

rediculous comment / assumption. blackpool need a win to stay up. even if we played our strongest side it is an uneducated person who would predict that at some point we wont be heavily under pressure.
 
My mate can't make it so he's given me two tickets for free. Haven't been to a game for a while, and now it just so happens I'll get to see us lift that 19th League title - can't wait. Need to find a friend to come with though.
