    Our squad is so bad.

I can see LvG going with something like the 3rd lineup, although I would want the second team. I would love to be able to drop both Mata and Memphis but can't see who else would come in their place. Januzaj would be starting every game here at the moment.

Can I change my 1-1 prediction to 0-2? Thought LVG would be sacked by now.

Very hard to predict. LvG possibly still in charge, Schweinsteiger back, Costa out ... I think I'll go again with a draw (1-1 by Schweinsteiger and Oscar).

Really interested to see what the atmosphere is going to be like at the game tomorrow with LVG still in the hot-seat and a ground full of frustrated fans...

First game at OT for a while. Just a shame we are in such poor form...

LvG's post match interview will be a controversial one as well I reckon regardless of the result...that's if he decides to give one.

They're starting to improve, we're the lowest we've been in a long time. Don't see us getting much out of this whatever van Gaal does.

They won against Sunderland comfortably and drew against Watford, a team we only beat due to an OG in extra time. I feel they're favorites but expecting a tight match anyway.

Battle for the Europa League places as it stands!

I'd like to see us try this, I mean nothing else has really worked of late.

I swear a lot of our issues this last run of games has been not playing/not having available that centre mid combo.

Mata and Depay surely have to be dropped after stinking out the place continuously this year. Also extremely important that we have the Schmidfield out there. Pereira has been pretty decent so it is probably best to start him (would ideally want Young on the LW but we can't have him there). Rooney has been wank this year but we don't really have any other options and he wasn't as bad as the others in our last game

What's the story with LVG supposedly missing the pre-match training? I've seen a bunch of it in some shit websites and thought someone here might have a better clue

I fear we aren't sacking LvG before this game which is slightly worrying... Why is the board waiting further... What is the sense in giving two more games to him when we need to be ruthless to get out of this rut... If we cannot beat Stoke, I'm afraid we will struggle against Chelsea...

My fear is that the board might be holding on as LvG might've mentioned he will quit if we lose to Chelsea which is a shame because we are risking 3 precious points on saving a few million... If we end p losing 4th spot by 2-3 points, who is responsible for that?

And let's say we win the game (hopefully), then what? You all of a sudden have confidence in LvG or is each game a knockout for him? If he wins 3 in a row, is he safe for 5-6 more games? If he does win the chelsea game and the one after, are we going to back him in the Jan window knowing he might not even stay the month?

This is just stupid. We needed to sack him after yesterday's match. Every other top club in the world would've done it.

Chelsea will win and LVG will be gone one way or another, atmosphere in the ground will be interesting once we inevitably go behind.

It's laughable club are dragging their feet, everyone knows what is coming and we are just throwing away points.

The board wait for the season to be absolutely unsalvagable before they do anything.
They did this with Moyes - only after he totally ruined us, did our board pluck up the courage to fire him.
Same is happening this season. I wonder if they will keep LVG until he gets us knocked out of the FA Cup. That would be the only nail left, which hasn't yet been hammered into MUFC's coffin.

Bayern were so efficient in dealing with Pep. And that's Pep. The most in demand manager. He was unsure of staying, so they made the decision for him and appointed another top manager.
What do we do? We dither. Jose is waiting in the wings and rather than moving forward, we are moving sideways/backwards - much like our football ;)

Apparently they gave an ultimatum that he must lose the next 2 games, for him to be sacked.
He is 50% of the way there.
By tomorrow, he may achieve his target of 2 losses.

First and foremost the players. I agree though that it's surprising to see LvG still being in charge.

So if he wins tomorrow and his job is safe?? The problem is the type of football we are playing under him will not get us in the top 4. We signed Di Maria, played awesome the first few games and then LVG installed his philosophy on to him and he went downhill, same with Martial, some will argue Depay also. If you want to see attacking football at Old Trafford this season he needs to go, win lose or draw tomorrow.

so 0-0 tomorrow and all the sudden van gaal is safe? that's just asinine from the board, even for their standards.

We haven't beaten Chelsea in last 8 matches, PL and cup combined. This needs to change!

Think this one could be 1 all. We equalize in the last minute with a Daley Blind pass flying in the top corner.

Got this team even though there's no chance of seeing it...

I'm torn on how I think this will play out.

Firstly, I know we won't play well or impress. We could scrape it though since they're not great at the moment either. When you look at the shit clubs, they usually get a result every few games, so we are due one.

On the other hand, I can quite easily see us getting humiliated if they're hungry and eager to impress.
