You must have been optimistic to see it in pre-season. It was back to the same by Milan even then.We are creating chances but can't finish.Chong and Greenwood haven't really impressed. It's so strange, they looked the best players at youth level and can't seem to get up to speed. Meanwhile, others who don't look anything special in the youth team thrive in the premier league. So difficult to judge playing potential. Still have hope for both of them though.

And by the time he released the ball it wasn't a dangerous situation anymore.

Phelan who is well known for not doing training ground work,Carrick who was playing a year back and Mckena who has been promoted straight from youth football and handed over the training regime. Really need to be getting Greenwood into the game more. Either our midfield needs to create more chances or Greenwood needs to involve himself more and make different runs off the ball.
