It goes without saying that VDB needs to be subbed out but I wonder if another bad CM performance from Eriksen will be swept under the rug.

We are playing well enough just need to take these chances we get.

I do worry about this ref though and falling for their players going down at the slightest bit of contact.

Wonder what he'll do HT. Eriksen has been noticeably poor (giving them at least two chances), and VDB hasn't even been noticeable.

Ronaldo may not have scored that chance (where he was offside), but I'm not even sure Rashford smells that.

The total kneejerk on DvdB is insane. Barely any comments on Eriksen.

We've been dominated in midfield and it's not just one person's fault. The change in formation has not been amazing as well but again there's the guy who's not played for weeks who's at fault.

VDB has done nothing, but I think Eriksen has been the worst player on the pitch. He's losing the ball for fun in dangerous positions. Ronaldo is also playing like he has been this season, Poorly. I would bring in Fred and Rashford if we continue like this in the 2nd half.

Casemiro has been great. I think he had a poor start to his time at the club, but he's been really good over the last few games.

Agree, it’s been satisfactory so far although I think we do need to move the ball a little more quicker in midfield though as it’s been a bit slow. Donny has been non-existent. That double save by DDG was superb.

Garnacho looks a real talent. Needs to get his head up a few times just but you can tell Sociedad look petrified of him whenever he’s 1v1 against their fullback. Very excited to see how he develops.

Thankfully scored from the one shot on target. That 2nd Degea save could have went anywhere thankfully it flew over the bar.

Need changes in midfield to get more control of the game. It's a bit of chaos at the moment.

Hardly. Donny is getting a rare chance so the spotlight is on him and he's failing it miserably. Eriksen is having a poor game but isn't consistently poor.

Yeah Casemiro been in there alone. If we're honest Eriksen has had a few performances like this but that's another story

He's barely played. He might turn out to be the dud he appears to be but the bandwagoning is absolutely ridiculous.

We had this last year with Martial. All the football brains on here decided he's shit because he's constantly injured and now this year he's turned into some kind of French Agüero/Wilson in that he's seen as the solution to our problems if only he'd stay fit.
