2017 Pre Season | Sampdoria vs Manchester United

So deliberately committing an infringement to deny a clear goalscoring opportunity shouldn't be punished with the standard punishment for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, just because it's handling a backpass and not fouling an opponent/handling a shot from the opposition? I'm not a hundred percent, but to say that my opinion is so ridiculous that it must be a joke is mental.
In the opposite case it would essentially mean that there is a red card every time the keeper handles a backpass. It is almost always heading towards goal.

Can't see why Blind is still on corner duty. He's appalling at them.

That's why Rashford will always play on the left of Lukaku in a front two.

If I was a manager I would fine my player's a week of wages for hitting the first defender on corners.

That and foul throws, it's infuriating. You're a professional footballer.

Keep in mind that a few of those games were 45 minutes for every player, so those "starts" don't really mean anything. Total minutes wise I wouldn't think there is too much different with him and the other attackers. Pogba, lukaku and Mkhitaryan I would guess have the most minutes.
Starting games allows one to play with stronger team especially as the preseason go on(Pogba is mostly involved in the first half of games) and it also tells which players are starting to get the nod from the manager.

Notice how all senior players have had more than a single start and only academyou players didn't start more than 1 game along with Martial.

Disagree with that observation, but yes, an argument can be made that if the keeper deliberately handles a backpass that's clearly heading into the goal, then yes, why not?

Because that's a stupid rule.

I like Matic already, he's tidy on the ball and is always available for the easy get out for our other players.

Can't watch the game, how are Perreira and the Pog doing?

Matic controlling our team. Constantly in communication with our team.

EDIT: And Maysie agrees with me!

Missed the start of the game, what the hell was that free kick inside the box for? It looks so ridiculous!

Matic the recycler.

MUFC commentators agree, in total control in his withdrawn role.

If we had a decent LB and a player like Sanchez on the wing we'd be a hell of a team.

Blind didn't notice de Gea at the edge of the box, so he played a back pass towards the goal. De Gea races back to punch it away as it's about a foot from the goal line.

Who's the fanboi that's co-commentating on MUTV? (Not Paddy Crerand). So far his quips include:

"Hit it"
"Switch it"
"Go on then!"
"Shoot"
"Offside"

Feels like I'm watching with someone with Footballing Tourettes. Kinda annoying.
