2018 US Elections

Yeah winning the House was always the important thing. But, seeing Dems fall short in some key Gov races puts a dampener on things, esp as they will affect the next election cycle.
Right, but let’s be honest: Florida is tough, and so is Georgia.
 
Isn’t this how it was expected to go? Republicans keep the senate, Democrats get the house?
GOP picking up a few toss up senate seats though. Only expected to gain one.
 
I said it before tonight but I'm actually willing to take that underwhelming house majority now if Cruz indeed loses. Can't wait for that spineless fecker to disappear off my screens.
 
NYT needle showing the House as 231-204 in Dems favour. And, the Senate as 53-47 in Repubs favour.
 
Better hope more justices don't die.
 
Beto will lose 46-54 according to NYT forecast of remaining vote areas. He's not hard left by any means but would have been refreshing to have a bit of integrity in the senate.
