Specialist In Failure
He's nowhere near ready to step back in, that's why he's off to Forest.
So how he's doing so far back since his return? This guy has loads of potential, reckon he'll be better than Wilshere.
Not a chance...Wilshere is a class above imo
Nasri has been shifted out wide for the moment, and looks diabolical in that position, his best form earlier in the season was when he was in the middle with Fabregas out.
In a way he made the wrong decision choosing Arsenal over us and not just because we have been and will be more successful than them. But mainly because he would have much easily cemented a first team position with us than them.
He certainly stepped up in Fabregas' absence on occasion but it was still mostly playing out wide, as Walcott was also injured...injured more frequently than Fabregas in fact. He's had a quiet second half of the season but it's not due to position.
Think he would have. Anderson is his first season, was very close to our first choice CM. Started a lot of big games for us. In his second season, he started the CL final.Hmmm ok, not sure why, I remember him playing through the middle earlier on in the season, or maybe nominally he was on the wing, but would end up drifting inside, not being a wide player naturally.
EDIT: Crappy - Ramsey played 22 times for Arsenal his 1st season, and had already played 29 times the season he broke his leg. He was well on his way to establishing himself in the Arsenal lineup, his injury has messed things up, but I'm not sure Aaron Ramsey would have gotten 51 appearances at United by the time he was 19, like he did at Arsenal.
Eduardo was never 'superb' before his injury. Showed a couple of good form spells at best. Though I think he did and would have continued to add much needed variety to their strike force.I've heard a few Arsenal players linking his career progression to Eduardo's. Superb early form, followed by a horrendous injury and then a career that never hits the heights it should have done. Obviously most players who get an injury like that take a while to recover (Valencia apart) but from the little I've seen of him post-injury, he looks nowhere near what he was before. Before the injury he was playing, performing well and scoring frequently in the Arsenal first-team at the age of 19. I wonder if he'll ever get back to those heights and achieve his obvious potential. Fabregas is likely to leave, Nasri could too and if he does, that'll leave a place for Ramsey to make his own.
I'd love we bring him to OT in a second attempt, but we probably won't.

Ramsey's got a lot more potential. Wilshere is a very good player for his age but the hype machine has been dragging him through most of this year, making him vastly overrated. Ramsey was a cut above when he was in the side last year, and I'm hoping with a good pre-season behind him he'll be raring to go again.
Ramsay was looking a very special player when Shawcross twatted him. Physically up to it, can tackle, strong on the ball, great engine and not afraid to have a spank from 25 yards too.
One never likes to lose exceptional players but once Fabregas departs frnkly I see a midfield of Wilshere Nasri Ramsey and backed by Song and Arshavin as pretty tasty
Ramsey's got more in his locker in a box to box sense and puts himself about. He was beginning to look immense at the time of the injury especially when Fabs was injured. I fancy he's mentally up for a fight too and from what I saw he's also happy to bollock those around him who need it.
It does look like he's stronger physically than say poor Eduardo and I think his break was frankly not so severe. Agreed given a proper pre season I'd hope to see him and Wilshere play together in 75% of our games next year
Fingers crossed for him
Don't really like Song though Jo.. if he wants to attack he can feck off..he can stay as a DM or I'd rather Arsene went out and bought a specialist DM who will sit back and do his job, and let Song leave. Song is never going to be an attacking mid.

Breakthrough year for him this year?
