Aberdeen vs. United XI [Testimonial Friendly]

Agreed. Flashes of brilliance at times but he performs so many simple tasks as if he's never played football his life.

I think he'll make it in the premiership, but definitely not here.

In the premiership? No chance.

Yeah, Anderson's had a good game again. Good runs, some good through passes, a few crossfield passes and the goal. Generally kept possession well, too.

Januzaj certainly looks interesting; need to get him on a five year contract ASAP.

We should loan Bebe out again and hope this time injury doesn't hit him again, theres talent there but he needs regular games.

Bebe had a mistake and the critics came rushing to the thread.
Funny.
He did well.

Januzaj looks special. Fletch being back was great.
Enjoyable game.

How much time left on his contract?

Powell also looks interesting, even if he made some mistakes. He works hard and at the same time has an eye for goal. Give him time and he could become one of the top midfielders in England.

His passing was a bit off.. but overall he did well. Didnt hide, was involved.

That evra voice.. ffs

Can I get 10p for the parking meter Paddy?

Your asking a lot, asking a lot.

To be fair, I reckon Paddy Crerand never commentates on the actual matches - instead, Stewart Gardner has recordings of some of his most used phrases, all of which at some point contain the words "you're asking a lot, asking a lot", which he from time to time plays on a tape recorder.

someone gif that anderson goal please?

Thought giggsy was v poor.

Powell will be a star he's a very similar player to Ramsay at arsenal.

Michael Keane needs to get in the gym.

Ando did ok, clearly fergie thinks he needs the fitness as he does look a bit podgy.

Bebe's decision making is crap as is his technique but he is far from a utd player. I agree a loan would be good move.

I've seen Blackett Brady and Keane at left back now- none are adequate enough cover for Evra. Surely we must have someone in mind if we've loaned out fabio?!!

re-read the lot, but wondering if there was a succinct appraisal of Thorpe and M. Keane (as well as Cole when he came on)?

Back from the game. Fletcher got a great reception and I thought he did well when he came. He was very vocal and helped Januzaj and Cole through the game.

On Januzaj, he was very good. Classy player, and people around me who had clearly no knowledge of him were also impressed. Anderson's goal was great.

Was at the game right at the side Bebe was playing...

He was awful, never wanted the ball, drifted around clueless, he held the ball up okayish, but other than that he didn't seem like he was up for it and was a joke, even the Aberdeen supporters were having a go...

I can recall one good dribble in the first half and a shot in the 2nd half which should have gone in...

The person who I was impressed most was Anderson, didin't give the ball away, looked super fit and I heard him shout Bebe' as ( Be'.... Be' ) It was really funny.

Janujaz came on and I've never seen him live, but he was amazing, first touch is as elegant as you can get... He looked even better than Powell who had an off and on game in my opinion. I dont' think Powell suits playing behind the striker, and with Rooney/Kagawa, I think SAF just wanted to test him.

Oh well... I still love Scholesy even though he fecked up badly for the goal, dream achieved and mission complete.

Only watched the highlights with crap as quality, but was it De Gea who made the handling error for the 2nd goal? I've always supported him (over Lindegaard), but I thought his error making days were going to be far far less common as he's been in such good form since January! Hopefully it was just 1 blip if it was him.

You're right. That was a crap-ass quality feed.

De Gea only played the first half.

No, that was Johnston. De Gea got the first half.

You've restored my faith in De Gea going on to have a perfect season with not a single handling error, mistake or even conceding a goal that's within his reach, unless it's shot with too much power to react in time.

Thank you :D

Wanted a big performance from Anderson pre game and he looked good. Was a good work out for him. Injuries aside, when you think that Andersons 24, Kagawa is 23, and Toms just turned 23....it's not bad. Good to see Fletcher back. Did well considering.
