No De Gea or Cleverley, seems we're not necessarily taking our strongest side.

For me, it's got to be:

Lindegaard
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Ando
Zaha Kagawa Nani
RVP

de Gea, Ferdinand, Fabio, Buttner, Cleverley, Valencia, Young and Rooney all missing for one reason or another. Very interesting.

I can't imagine they're all injured; he must be thinking of the fact we play three games inside six days (granted Valencia is on compassionate leave though anyway).

Or Januzaj or Lingard

I hope to see:

Lindegaard

Rafael Vidic Smalling/Jones/Evans Evra

Zaha Carrick Anderson Nani

Kagawa

Van Persie

Would be great to see Henriquez play a part too!

Wigan on sunday so I guess Moyes will play his strongest team there to get a good start to the season with a trophy (if city count the Community Shield as a trophy, we should too ;) )

Good to see Bebe in the squad. Hopefully we've brought some signed shirts for the resulting injured people in the crowd.

Travelling squad: Lindegaard, Amos; Rafael, Evans, Evra, Jones, Smalling, Vidic; Anderson, Bebe, Carrick, Giggs, Nani, Zaha; Henriquez, Kagawa, van Persie, Welbeck

How is Bebe still here? I know Sir Alex says Ralph Milne is his worst buy, but I think Bebe has taken that title. We can't even give him away.

I'm probably more frustrated than I should be that Bebe is in the squad while Lingard and Januzaj aren't.

I think we just have to be patient. Sooner or later, he'll be gone. As for the kids, they've shown more than enough to impress Moyes. One more friendly isn't going to make too much difference either way.

yay! no Young! Rather Bebe than Young (not serious but not too far from that sentiment)

Zaha's already played a lot of minutes on the tour and now he's been taken along to Sweden whilst others are getting rested. I'm getting the sense that Moyes really likes the look of him and might be thinking about having him start the season as a first choice winger.

If Moyes plays him for any more than 30 minutes, I reckon he'll be nailed on to start the season in the first XI. He'll definitely be going into my fantasy football team.

Where is Hernández? Longest vacation ever. I mean he played vs Betis but won't play this one?

Good to see that Nani has travelled.

Looking positive for him, hopefully.

It is looking quite positive for Nani. Looking forward to seeing him in action and hopefully there's a comeback season ahead of him if he stays.

We could potentially see an attacking 4 of Zaha, Nani, Kagawabanga and RVP. That could be drool worthy - the interchanging would be delicious.

Liking the sound of that

Lindegaard
Rafael Vidic Evans Evra
Carrick Anderson
Zaha Kagawa Nani
van Persie

Probably see Jones and Smalling replace Rafael and Vidic, with Giggs stepping in for Anderson. Maybe Kagawa and van Persie to make way for Welbeck and Henriquez. If everyone has to get some minutes, then I guess Bebe replaces Zaha too... :(

Does anyone have a clue about the quality of the Man United online thingy? If it's decent I'll buy it, if not I'll give this match amiss.

For the price, I assume it'll be like watching it on TV (assuming you haven't got an absolute caveman-excuse for a computer/laptop).

Skimmed through aikforum.se to read what their anticipation for this game was and if they indeed were going to boycott the game, as has been reported here. They are well and truly pissed off, for starters. The fans didn't want to play this game because it disrupts their league campaign. Some nutters calling for the board to resign because they are selling the club's soul for commercial revenue.

Some lad describing his utter disgust knowing he has to travel from one place to another, into city and meet up with shitty suburban kids who are waving their clean plastic AIK scarves rather than sweaty, bloody and stained ones.

To say the are fuming is an understatement.

I think I'm the only one excited to see Bebe in the squad.

I actually like Bebe.

I cant understand how some people dont like Bebe!

I'm sure he's a lovely boy.

Just because he's not United quality doesn't mean I don't like him.

Neither of you 2 are United quality either but I don't have anything against either of you.

Bebe seemed to have a decent loan until the end of the season. Had a few glimpses of talent from youtube video anyway.

Would be nice to see if he's improved in anyway
