Ajax vs. Manchester United

when did United last have a 20 man squad where we could field an all-english side ?

Amos - Jones, Smalling, Ferdinand, Fryers - Young, Carrick, Scholes, Cleverley - Welbeck and Rooney

would probably beat England as well :)

10 minutes after the initial ad break we have another ad break, I reckon 2 more before kick off. Nice to see that the channel 5 studio seems to have been pretty much placed under a massive music speaker

why is this game on at 6pm and City's is at 8.05pm and on ITV.

ITV and Channel 5 share television rights. Usually the Europa League is shown on ITV4 but with it being City they're now on ITV. Europa League games usually kick off at 6 or 8pm.

+ City's return leg is on 5pm on Tuesday, and ours is on 8pm next Thursday, so they get the preferable time today.

Guaranteed to annoy anybody you're with is to say "erm" every time Wayne Rooney does.

They did a decent job on that hair transplant

No central heating in the studio. That's the Europa league i guess

Any Spurs fans knocking about? Do Channel 5 always stick this many ads in their prematch buildup?

I quite like the fact that I've just got home from work and our game will kick off in 10 minutes... beats waiting around for 2 hours till kick off anyway!

Having said that, i'd be annoyed if we were at home and kicking off at 6pm...

I'll probably watch the Stoke match at 8pm anyway...
