ALL post Rooney transfer and policy funding discussion(NO player speculation allowed)

Also he isn't going to say anything else. Do you really expect him to say "I am a greedy cnut."

This squad finished 1 point off a 4th straight title less than 4 months ago and miles ahead of City, its a bull shit cover story, City have said to him basically whatever United offer you we'll double it and hes seen nothing but £££ since, feck him.

Yeah, we did finish 1 point off 2nd.

And then we followed it up by not buying any name players, whilst letting our squad get older.

NOW our best and most marketable player has said that it's going to continue like this for a while.

Watch MUST get their hands all over this.

Rooney wants out for various reasons - ambition isn't one of them. All he had to do, if he wanted 'top players' here was kick up a tiny fuss, not a massive fecking earthquake. This has nothing to do with the Glazers, no matter how dire our situation might be, Rooney - or more importantly, his PR team/agent - has used this as another manipulation against the club.

He showed no respect to the club and has no fecking bottle to accept that, so he'll hide behind this smokescreen.

Utter bollocks and I don't believe these are his true reasons for a second. Can feck right off.

100% agree that the Glazers have wrecked this club.

No one in their right mind can say the Glazers are helping this club.

You lot actually think it's about money?

The Scouse cnut wants to win trophies and Gill wouldn't confirm that we'd bring in "top drawer" players.

I can't believe I'm getting criticised for this.

Our top player has said it's down to ambition. His story holds up. If he said he wanted to leave last season, why has he started every game until a few weeks ago. When he said he wanted to meet Gill.

Our club squad at the moment is competitive. That is true. We have possibly the best in the league.

However, we need massive investment, and if Rooneys said we aren't going to get that and is willing to leave the club, why do you all suddenly assume he's wrong.

You're right, we did let our squad get older, Nani has matured as has Rafael. Unfortunately Valencia got injured. The middle is still lacking but I've seen worse. We bought a player who did well at the World Cup, unlike a certain Rooney too.

Just feck off, basically.

Good point, well made.

Rooney can go feck himself.

It brings to mind a rare good point from jamie redknapp earlier this season about how torres needs to stop sulking about liverpool not signing 'world class' players when he IS the world class player. Not everyone can be a 25 mil signing. United still have a shitload of quality and it higjlights how perverse football has become.

As an aside, i think it's a bullshit excuse.

When the feck have we ever attracted the worlds top fecking players? Name me any other players bar Veron.

We've gone two years (three?) without buying anyone bar Valencia. Whilst it's true we've never bought biggest in Europe, we've always been around the biggest in the prem, and it's obviously not the case now.

How many big name players have we signed in the last twenty years? Or ever for that matter.

Rooney's full of shit, and so are all the cretins who buy his nonsense.

He's also a bit of a cnut to make this statement a couple of hours before a big UCL match.

Yeah we have a good solid batch of young players. Nani, Macheda, Rafael look pretty set to make it at a top club. However no club has been succesful only buying young unproven talent, just as buying only big massive transfers can sometimes go amiss.

If MUST want this prick as their posterboy then they might as well switch to City along with him in January

Berbatov, Nistelrooy, Veron, Hargreaves were all big name signings.

They wern't the best in world football.

But we haven't made a signing like that in years.

Again, we may not have needed to, until recently, but now our star player is saying it, things aren't looking good.

Yeah, except Berbatov and Valencia. £48m between them.

edit.
Just noticed you already know about Berba and you're still moaning

We have never signed "top" players. Just Veron and Tevez maybe, the rest where in lower leagues, unknow or youngsters.

You can't believe you're getting criticised for this........!!!

Give us a break lad. The other day he said it was because of his irreparable breakdown in relations with Fergie.

Then he found no-one believed that tale so he's come out with this because he thinks everyone will believe it.

To add to this lying, which has insulted the fans intelligence and the management, he's now come out and insulted the rest of United's players.

The sooner we're rid of him the better.

Listen, I'm not a transfer muppet, I don't think we should be spending billions. I don't think we should throw money away needlessly. I appreciate at times under the Glazers ownership we've spent big, but the fact is we've also received 80 million. And not even spent that on transfers combined in the two years since.

TBH I havn't seen that irreparable breakdown quote anywhere.

Because we missed the title by a point and could easily have got to the UCL final again but for a harsh redcard on Rafael we also have a squad full of young talent and he's been a part of unprecendented success with us and he's prepared to stick two fingers up to all that this club has given him without even trying to help fight for this cause.

If you can sympathise with that you are a fecking shit United supporter and can just feck right off. You don't have any respect for how lucky you are to "support" this club.

You think this club owes something to Rooney? He fecking owes us.

He's not even willing to give the club a chance, stand by us in what he perceives as a difficult time.

Ah right. No 'big' player in two summers (bar Valencia) and we've suddenly got no ambition. By that logic all the Chelsea players should have fecked off three years ago!

I know we have a bright squad. Some of the potential is amazing. We don't need massive investment now. We need it next year potentially when Giggs, Scholes, VDS and Neville leave.

What if Rooney has been told we won't have a massive ammount to spend on these players? What if he genuinly knows we're not going to replace them with the calibre which those players need to be replaced with.

I don't think this club owes anything to Rooney. However I don't think many footballers nowadays think they owe anyone anything. They're mostly cnuts. Mouthy cocks. So I don't expect much from them. What I do expect however is the club I love not to be bled dry by some fecking pricks who think we're another business to be exploited.

People telling me to feck off. Don't you fecking see what's happening to our club. We're losing millions. I couldn't give a shit if the debts serviceable, it's still there fecking hanging around our necks dragging the club down. This is the first public showing of how detrimental it's being.

We've been being rejected/not signing "top" players long before Rooney and it'll continue long after one thing that has remained under Ferguson is our success.

Hope you rot Wayne, I really hope you rot.

Shhh, you and all your facts and sense, you. Don't you realise that all is rosy at Old Trafford, the sun shines out of Malcolm's arse, and there is loads of money to spend on player's SAF would like?

I know full well what's gone on, the instructions have come from the top to keep our wage outgoings below 50% of our annual turnover, this means big signings with the obligatory big wages are a thing of the past. It means SAF has been forced to sign young, more unproven player's on lower wages, this and re-sale potential are the main criteria for player recruitment these days rather than quality and proven ability. Sad but true.

Glazer's are slowly dragging this club down due to sheer weight of debt humped onto our shoulders
