Amad Diallo signs for Manchester United

It says top 3 18-year-olds, not any teenager. Camavinga, Fati, Bellingham etc. aren't 18.

Looking at that video he looks like Di Stefano, but you can’t judge looking a video

I am against this kind of expensive signings of unknown players, because history says it doesn’t work in the 99% of the times

I'm disgusted with Ole not being backed with the Sancho signing he wanted, I hate the Cavani deal and I feel or central defence and midfield is unbalanced, but I don't see how any fan can't get at least a bit excited by the potential of this lad, obviously it'll likely take time for him to adapt to the PL, especially given his size, but the you can see from the video's that he has the technical skills, agility and pace to be something special.

Is this at youth level?

Out of curiosity who are the other 2?
Not sure and the above clip is him against a youth team.

I've posted links to 3 full games the player was involved in, in the reserves/youth sub forum if anyone is interested.

a lot of online hype about this kid already and does look to have bags of talent, but if hes so great then why has he only played 3 senior matches?

I reckon Fati and Cherki the other 2. I think the tweet says Utd reckon he's among the best 3 and we've been linked with them 2.

Atalanta play a wingback system which has proven to be highly effective for their Coach, Gasperini which likely was the reason for the players lack of games.

Atalanta don't play a system with wingers.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this but Atlanta don't play wingers.

interesting but still a bit strange to make his debut in October 2019, score a goal and be lauded as youngest goal scorer of the season and then barely get a look in for the next 12 months (ye i know there was no football for half of that)

anyway I guess we will find out for ourselves in the new year

They're near enough. Fati will be 18 in a couple of weeks, Camavinga in a month
Well, Camavinga starts and scores for France National team at 17 years of age, so I would think he is slightly ahead of Diallo now...)

That's actually a very good point.
I'd be one of the first to criticize United for not going the extra yard to sign Bellingham, as I'm pretty sure in 2 years time we'll be trying to sign him, and it will be a Sancho saga all over again.
As a club, we absolutely need to get ahead of the curve and land the Haaland's & Sancho's at the same stage as Dortmund are so adept at doing.
Dortmund also bag these players because it's a good environment to perform under less pressure before being able to leave for a bigger club. A good platform if you just.

I wonder if we could sweeten the relationship with Dortmund by offering them Traore and Mengi on loan for a couple of seasons, and let them develop them into £100m quid players...

I think we should bring him to England instead of keeping him in fringes. He can train at our facilities and get familiar with club and Play style.

He can't actually come to the UK until he gets his work permit sorted...I think?

I mean, the players have to actually have that potential.

He's not on trial though, he's contracted.
The only thing he cant do on a visitor visa is earn money. His contract with united will start after Jan's window. Currently, he remains under contract with Atlanta

This kid is going to be a star. Hopefully they can sort the work permit issue asap.

He can't work paid or unpaid. He has a contract with the club, any club duties at United would be classed as work regardless of when his contract starts as under FIFA pre-contracts are binding.
