We played it against Southampton in the FA Cup in 10/11, with Owen behind Obertan and Hernandez.
My understanding is that he can speak English reasonably well for someone of his background but isn't really confident speaking it in formal interviews.
He does tweet in English from time to time so he probably knows enough to get by.
