I'd give this more credence than others.
Mitten has good relations with Herrera. Pretty sure Herrera was one of the rare United players who have given an interview with UWS.
David McDonnell: "Manchester United are refusing to be held to ransom by midfield stars Ander Herrera and Juan Mata....Herrera is understood to want to more than double his current weekly wage of £120,000-a-week, while Mata, on around £140,000-a-week, is also looking for a significant hike to extend."
Peak Herrera under SAF would have been at peak Keane level (or slightly lower). Fergie used love such players.
No. Its on the incompetent hack managing our football operations ...Not like we don't have the money. We could spend 350 mil in one summer and it would likely cover what we need, but it's on the Glazers.

Wouldn't like to see him go but he's not irreplaceable, so wouldn't be that bothered if he did go , just hope we sign a good player to replace him.
Damnit, meant Alex Shaw!Btw, is Luke Shaw reliable?
No idea bout Alex.Damnit, meant Alex Shaw!
Presume you’ve never seen Keane play.Peak Herrera under SAF would have been at peak Keane level (or slightly lower). Fergie used love such players.
Hope he extends but won’t have any negative sentiments if he leaves. One player who gives everything almost 99% of the time. His quality might be questioned but he was always giving his best.
Which is why Jones got an extensionGood player, knows the club, loves the club, is already integrated in the squad and works his bollocks off every game. You don't let those players leave.
With a new RW, RB, CB and already another CM. We could do without spending money on his replacement.if we're getting an upgrade I won't be too fussed. theirs other midfielders out there we can replace him with that will improve us tenfolds. verratti/eriksen/rabiot/thiago etc.
No matter what you think about Herrera, he's one of our best players. He's our constant big game player.
Brilliant business by PSG to get him on a free to be honest. Our massive loss.

Why don't they steal our ChileanThey usually pickup a player from the team that bounced them off the CL.
Two of those we've got no chance of getting, one is a possible, and I don't think Thiago would fit personally.
I'm baffled to see so many people on here talking up us going for Verratti and Eriksen, clearly great players, but it just ain't happening.
it's all on the glazers and if they want to show ambition. we can buy all those this summer. maybe only a one CM so 4 signings is doable. we bought 5 players in one summer for LVG . its a pity his contract was allowed to run down because he's a valuable member of our squad but if we replaced him it's no big loss. a big if.With a new RW, RB, CB and already another CM. We could do without spending money on his replacement.
It can definitely happen as Eriksen is in the last year of his contract. 60m-70m would be too tempting to let go even for Levy.
He'd rather sell him for a penny to a team in Estonia than sell to us.
there's also rakitic. after de jongs move someone will be getting forced out in their midfield perhaps we could entice him into a move? Two of those we've got no chance of getting, one is a possible, and I don't think Thiago would fit personally.

Eriksen is 27 and has been severely underpaid based on his performances for a while now. We have geriatric bench warmers like Young/Jones on more money than he is. He wants to get paid and we can certainly do that. So I don't see why it would be an issue.
Just like Berba and Carrick.
Would happily take Poch and Eriksen and keep Ander.Aye those very recent transfers
Eriksen will go to Real or Barca, can't see him being interested in coming here.
Also, for those criticizing Woodward... it does seem like we're hiring a DoF for precisely this kind of thing.
Crossed my mind that PSG are doing this just to piss us off because they're so bitter about the Champions League. They have the money and the owner took it personally. Logic goes out of the window when you're a rich man's plaything.
Herrera loves the club so hopefully he tells them where to go. He's still far too good to be playing in a retirement league anyway.
He did indeed, Mitten is the most reliable regarding Herrera for sure imo. Really don't understand people losing their minds, it's a tactic regularly used now by agents to get a better deal for their player and everytime the Caf falls for it.I'd give this more credence than others.
