It honestly seemed our early woes was due a lot to lack of fitness. Costa and Hazard came back fat as hell, and it was obvious to see they sat around eating too much pies on the beach. The other guys looked dead tired by the 60th minute.
Next time around we need to do double sessions, maybe even triple sessions for pre-season fitness. I don't think the players should get more than 2 weeks off as punishment for not finishing in a CL place.

I'd imagine Conte will be more likely to play 4-2-4 with Chelsea, a Juve fan told me before that his 3-5-2 was more to suit Juve's players and that he didn't like it. That he wanted to convert to 4-2-4 if he could get the players.
Yeah and teams with decent defenders will chase top 4 next season and probably miss too. We need to make top sigining in that area. Laporte or someone similar. Howedes is shit and Christensen can not be recalled this summer.
I think the reasons run deeper. It would seem that Matic is not a favourite for some at the club. They would very much like to get extend Mikels contract and have him as the main DM.
Too many pussies in the Chelsea team. Get them working hard and if they aren't up to scratch or whine then get rid and replace them. They didn't even bat an eyelid as they got Mourinho sacked and took us to relegation, why should we give a shit about them?

Probably not so simple but may be a contributing factor. ITKs say the dressing room is still divided between two groups and one of the groups will be cleared out in entirety. Though how much one should trust these itks is a big question but we can surely say there will be an overhaul in the summer and some good players will depart.

He's a fantastic manager, he was one of my top choices to replace moyes at the time. Tactically he's fantastic and we wouldnt have situations where we've lost games having fellaini holding a midfield alone.
