You are beginning to sound like noodle.

Look, personally I think he had a pretty meh first half, certainly not a good one like people have suggested, but he also had a very good second half, probably his best this season, so let's hope we see him get back to his best again.

Exactly. So many people have said he's been having a good half, but nobody can answer me when I ask them to pick a moment where he actually did something really good. It's all just "he's defending well, he's making runs, he's getting forward." Big fecking whoop, I could do all that.

The cross for RVP where his volley went over the bar

The last two-three matches have been pretty encouraging from him.

Fantastico tonight. Great partnership with Rafael. Hopefully they can play the last games of the season together and lock down the pairing for next season.

Did so well tonight. Even when up against 2 defenders on his own he managed to make something of it. He still has a role to play.

Can we just ignore criticising him for one game and just focus on celebrating number 20 for tonight!

If this is a great performance for him, then the fact is he just isn't that good.

For what it's worth, I have seen better from him.

I thought he had average first half, and was very good in second half.

But one thing I will never understood is, what was the point with him and protecting the ball with his body in the first half couple of times in the middle of the pitch, when he had so much options, it was really funny to watch.

Waaaay better the past few games and tonight was probably his best game this season. Glad he's looking good again I was starting to get worried, let's hope he keeps it up.

I thought he was good in the sense that that was an average performance compared to his best, still not hit the heights yet but that a solid 7/10 performance.

Valencia slaters can jog on, he is and will always be more important to us than Nani. Very good tonight.

Clearly showed today that he has not lost much if any pace. Still strong as a Ox too.

His best match in a while today. Should come back next season pretty well.

Better than his usual fare. But lets face it, this was at home against villa. I've no doubt he will be here next season, but if peformances don't improve back to pre 2012 levels then he might be on his way out.

Not yet on his best level, but he's improving, as in showing glimpses of an actual United winger.

Brilliant tonight. He's back

He was certainly good, brilliant is stretching it a bit. Still too much negativity in his play, needs to gain more confidence. When he did venture forward and took men on he beat them, but for some reason he seems to stop and pass backwards too often.

I've been in the Nani camp to be honest, but the truth is I doubt he'll ever fully become the player he could.

I don't think Valencia was great tonight though. Looks so stiff and rigid out there. Still see him as a sub at this level personally.

Brilliant is way over the top. At the least.

In the first half he was ok, not poor like in previous games this season. In the second half he picked it up a bit, still some very dodgy final balls but it was better. Actually the best thing he did today was win 7 tackles, the most in the team or on the pitch which obviously enhances his overall performance. But offensively we should still hope to see a lot more than he managed tonight because it wasnt much. But definitely more positive and going in the right direction

Played well but I'm not at all convinced he is anywhere near as good as he was in the latter half of last season or if he will ever reach that level again

Fair play to him, great performance tonight, if he keeps it up next year we'll be playing some incredible football
