I get it, Clattenburg is pissed his team lost last night so he's taking it out on us. But Christ this is blatant and he's not even batting an eyelash.

Can't we do anything about this? Letters to the FA? Anything at all? Are we supposed to just sit here and take this or something? This is borderline sabotage, as RAWKish as that may sound. It's an absolute mockery against football. Not a shred of neutrality in this man's whistle.

Goal from a cross where the ball was already out of bounds.
Overlooked foul against Rafael that lead to a non-existing penalty.
A De Laet shove with clear intent of injuring, which should have been a red, wasn't even a foul.
Vardy committing several offenses warranting a second yellow that weren't even a foul.
Vardy shove against Blackett that also warranted a second yellow ending up being a red for Blackett and a second penalty for Leicester.

Let's not forget the last match he officiated against United, which was at Old Trafford, where Liverpool got 2 completely non-existent penalties, a 3rd one which was legitimate handball from Rafael so I won't complain on that one. And Vidic got a direct red for a Suarez dive. Reerees get banned for shite like that and yet he walked, all to do it again.

Are we supposed to take this? Surely there has to be something we can do.

It might sound like a rant thread, but it's a legitimate question. SOMETHING has to be done.

While the penalty is a joke, our team has been dire since, totally lost their heads and that's unacceptable. Some sort of composure and we wouldn't be here.

I agree. Not the place to discuss this though. And please read the rest of my post, this isn't just about the two non existent penalties.

He gave them a joke pen but everything since then is our shitness. Shouldn't collapse like that.

There is something very rawk-ish/Bluemoon-y about this thread.

Yes, the ref fecked us on the penalty decision but we were still ahead. The capitulation was our fault and we have clear issues in our defence.

Poor decisions but lets not overlook that United were pure shite in the last half an hour.

We absolutely deserved to lose.

Nothing we can do. Shit happens. We still completely capitulated under the pressure like a bunch of cowards.

This is a joke thread.

Dodgy penalty decisions are part and parcel of the game. We've had our fair share. It happens.

Our players shi*ted themselves hoofing balls with 25 minutes to go as if we were in stoppage team looking to clinch a point.

We are the worst at defending counter attacks.

If this isn't a parody thread it's the worst thread I've ever seen in here.

Penalty decision was a joke but still that's not excuse to concede 4 fecking goals in 10 minutes. The defence was all over the place, school boy stuff.

You lot are underestimating just how being pissed can destroy a man's game.

Should have they gotten pissed? No. They're professionals, keep it in. But they did. Because of factors not related to objective footballing.

He's the worst referee in the Premier League, by some distance. And he loves to show off how 'brave' he is by giving penalties against us whenever an opposition player tumbles in our box. See the Liverpool game in March.

Letters to the FA though

There's no defence for the ref and no excuse for him to give that. He should be punished. But that in turn is no excuse for the game to end 5-3.

Clattenburg was shit but one shit call shouldn't cost us a whole game. The players shouldn't fall apart like this no matter what. They bottled it.

I get that. He won't be punished, though. I'm upset about it, lynch me in public why dont ya.

Ehh the ref was bad, but at worst he was difference between conceding 5 and conceding 3, and the latter would still be bad. Lets not let an admittedly terrible performance from a referee take away from the terrible performance of our defence.

Yep, its a lesson learned for Van Gaal and staff. Our players, despite being very good, are still vacillating between disparate pieces and a galvanized team. This side is definitely a work in progress.

Every ref can get a decision wrong - but what he did today was .... I can't find a Word for it.

Yes we were awful - but I just don't know what to call his decision with Rafael and Vardy today

Very Rawkish. Let's move on lads. Look at our own team first. Smalling was terrible, Rooney was a mess and Van Gaal took out our biggest threat.

RAWKish thread this.
