Do you know which Neville is which? Gaz has had his best season ever going forward this year, putting in some brilliant crosses. Whereas every time Phil gets it at right-back he either hoofs it down the line to no-one or Garryowens it miles in the air.

Marcello your 4-4-2 idea is interesting, solves our problem to an extent (how to contain them in the middle without isolating Ruud by playing him on his own). Also, Scholesy was awful in the last game. BUT when it comes down to it, you've got to play Scholesy, he's our best player.

Ole cannot play as a lone striker against Campbell and Toure...it would be like crushing a butterfly on a wheel.

Pack the midfield with Keano, Djemba and Scholesy, start with Ole on the right, and pray.

Not sure about Fletcher would like to have seen Djembax2.But at least he is playing at his prefered position so lets see what he can do.
 
Emm, not sure about Fletcher in the middle myself, he could be easily out-muscled there, it could be a real risky one too for Fergie!!.

The only reason I can think that no Djemba is that HE is carrying an injury as well!

Give the boy chance...i think it's a great to chance for him to prove himself, this match could be the makling of him.

About being out muscled...well we've got Scholes, Keane to help him.

Hopefully, Fletch can hurt the Arse with his passing.
 
Ole hasn't had enough playing time lately. He needed games to get fit, and has been getting like 10 minutes. And he hasn't played as a striker in how long????
 
lol - maybe forlan will save the day. too bad ruud played in that highbury match i was suprised he did. a meaningless match really at the end of the day. too bad.

What's the alternative though?
I''d rather have Ole up there than Forlan/Giggs/Bellion in this kind of game.

Ok BBC just showed the line-up and fletcher is on the right with giggs behind Ole. Keane and scholes in middle.
