Subs:

Forlan

Very tough decision between playing phil, Ronaldo or Ole at RM, as Phil will give more defensive cover from Pires but Ole will break them down.

COME ON UNITED!!!!

I suppose we will now have 6 days of inane posts of what teams all and sundry would put out, and from Sunday at about 6pm a list of inane excuses why none of it worked.

All we need to do is to employ Porto tactics and I'm sure you'd end up with a single digit number of players. :smirk:

Why don't we ask our Gooner members what United fans should talk about on a United forum...?

Missed you so much, still living up to your name I see. I just see no sense in all this posturing before a match.

I thought you already had a copyright on "Porto tactics". What a sad way to approach a game. You have an advantage though with the appointment of Graham Poll as the referee, he has no love for Arsenal, so your tactics may well pay off, but it still very sad.

I don't care... 3 defeats and a draw for you in your next 4 games and your "amazing season" will have gone pear shaped. :smirk:

Christ almighty, its just hit home (proper hit I mean!) that our season is about to be decided - and its only March - ye gads its been awhile since this happened :nervous:

Is this how the dippers feel every year :smirk:

My honest feeling about the up coming games v Arse - scared shitless. We're used to playing for trophies, now we're playing for pride. I certainly cant see us winning both, and 3 Prem points might/probably will be meaningless anyway....

I went on Saturday without any expectations. I think its better for my health if I approach these two with the same attitude

I think Wenger will post a weakened side against you aiming for at worst a draw.

That'll put you 12 behind with 8 to go and even in your wildest dreams the chances of us dropping more than 12 points from those is remote and that's assuming you thereafter win every game and with Liverpool and Chelsea to play that's doubtful.

If we win then it's all over for you

You have got to win to even extend the race

Assuming we field a below strength side I fancy a draw meself

Although of course I'll always hope we give you a right pasting

;)

The cup game will be the first time since the final in 1985 that we go into a FA cup tie as clear underdogs!

Ah, what a game, the day I fell for the reds :)

One of my favourite players Nicky Butt, but it pains me to say he isn't playing well enough ATM for this game.

Phil's incredible performance against Vieira last year should put him in midfield alongside Keano, and he will be desperate to get back in midfield.

I'd stick with the rest of it.

iF Djemba2 is fit, he should start,,,i expect a good game from United & winning 2-1,,,,Ole & Giggs to score

I've got faith in them.... with fewer injuries and the energy gained from last weeks match against the Spurs. If nothing else MU will have the bar set high enough to see where the weaknesses are the the coming season and which positions will need replacing.

I expect this line-up

-------------Carroll--------------

Gary----Wes----Mickey----O'Shea

------Phil-----Keano----------

Ole---------Scholes--------Giggs

-------------RVN----------------

I would prefer Howard at goal

No, I predict Arsenal to win 5-0 in all 4 matches. :smirk:

Copyright on Porto tactics  What planet are you from.

By the way Poll has done Arsenal favours in the past by not sending Vieira off when he should clearly have walked in the 99/00 game against Utd at Highbury and when he sent off Bellamy when you played the barcodes in 01/02.

Why is everyone putting Carroll ahead of Howard in goal?

He sent Bellamy off, after sending off Parlour and awarding an unjustified penalty.
And St Patrick never ever deserves to be sent off ;)

Agree with ya... But I think Phil will partner Keane in the centre

Saha's cup-tied. I'll put out last Saturday's formation. Why change a winning team? Maybe it's a team that loves to beat North-londoners.
