anyone saw the post game interview with Wenger?
He actually SAW the Sol's elbow.

Personally i thought we deserved to win the game, though the result is still a good one. Their first goal was lucky, i didnt think of it at the time, but it may have been offside, the second was clearly off, at least two metres, i cannot comprehend how the linesman did not see it.

I think Campbell tried to palm off Solskjaer and elbowed him. You could see his hand touch Solskjaer before the elbow, so it probably wasn't deliberate.

We played well in patches. I thought changing formation at the back put us off a little. I have mixed feelings, it was a good result, but i fell like we got robbed.

ps. Ruuds goal was a fecking gem! <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Never! <img src="graemlins/wenger.gif" border="0" alt="[Wenger]" />

Campbell SWUNG an elbow... if nothing else, justice for a) two offside goals and b) the elbow on Ole by the same twat in the FA Cup.

The Premiership's joint top scorer's second finish was altogether more intentional, Henry sending his French team-mate the wrong way for the second time in as many years at Highbury; Gilberto Silva's pass was equally fine, but his striker was clearly offside.

Of course he swung it! Dirty cnut!

But how many games can he play before his ban?

Vieira didn't look to happy either.

I think that they are fecked. Should have been tonight, but we were robbed. If we dont win this title now, that fecking linesman is going to have to take some shit.

Best thing that we and the team can do IMO is disregard this game - we scored two excellent goals, they scored from a deflection (interesting celebration Cole/Henry, you'd have thought it had been a belter from the half-way line) and a definite offside goal. And I expect that Sir Alex is the happier of the two.

We won our home game, they should have one their's. Yes, a win would have been fantastic, but it didn't happen and there's no point dwelling on it. We need to concentrate on each game now - it's crucial we don't slip up and just pray that those bastards do.

I didn't post this ffs

I'm not too worried, we are on good form, they are not and now have problems with Vieira and Campbell. We deserve this title after what we went through at the beginning of the season, what with 7 players going under the knife and all.

I just have to laugh at the comments back then from the scousers about us being a spent force and in decline! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

When we add two or three quality players in the right areas to our squad this summer, there will be no argument next season as to who is the king of British football. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

I hope Verón plays on Saturday. He needs a run ot before next Wednesday.

He's going to win us that European Cup!

Very optimistic. But why not?
:)

I would have taken a draw before the game but it's pretty disappointing to have dropped points to those two skanky goals. The defense looked really ropey after the half time reshuffle but got it together after we equalised. C'est la vie.

The Blackburn game is going to be really difficult. I think it could be our sternest test of the games we have left.

I LIKE the way you're thinking.... <img src="graemlins/angel.gif" border="0" alt="[Angel]" /> ....

Great game.

Excellent goal by Ruud, his first touch was fantastic - as was Giggsy's flick on. The second demonstrated Giggsy's arial ability and Ole's crossing ability - for those who had doubted it.

Arsenal's goals were very jammy indeed, however, on refelection, it was probably fair in the context of the match.

I must say though, I've read a lot about Pires being a cheat etc on here and not really witnessed it for myself, but tonight I totally agree.

One thing that sticks out in my mind is that he made a meal of a certain foul - which, yes it was foul, and he rightly got the freekick - however he was rolling around looking at the ref clutching his other leg!!

Fergie looked happy with the result, which gives me confidence that it was in-fact a good result in the grand-scheme of things. However, I can't but feel a little dissapointed after the first half performance. We could have had more from that game.

Wes Brown and Giggsy we're brilliant tonight I must add.

The sending off was a tricky one. My first reaction was that Ole had made a meal of what seemed to be an accidental flick of the arm by Campbell. However, upon seeing the replay from the linesman's angle, I can see why he got the red.

Yet, none of the United players we're appealing, (note Ruud - he was closest). From the ref's angle, it didn't look intentional.

I'm sure this debate will go on for days... At the end of the day, it would probably be justice for some of the appauling decisions which went Arsenal's way tonight.

2-2 A fair result, and in hindsight will probably be a valuable one. We're still in control, and the pressure is very much on them.

Ruud has actually appealed to the ref when Ole was fallen down. But then it was the linesman who judged that the elbow was deliberate. Anyway, I think the referee could issue a red card in this circumstances. Sol's dismissal and suspension can have a big effect to Arsenal's remaining matches, which is sure.

I think we played very well in this match and has done enough to win the match in such a difficult ground. We were unfortunate as they have scored two lucky goals. But then, if we maintain this momentum and performance I believe we have a very big chance to win the PL.

First Arsenal goal was onside.
Second was offside but I just don't get why some people say it would have been 1-2 without that goal - the second came directly after kick off so there wouldn't have been that goal.

Fair result IMO.

Sorry but I don't see what's so funny?

That's just how I saw the game. Red card was right and I believe Man Utd will win the championship and have absolutely nothing against it. Man Utd looked much better in the first half and should have scored another. Unfortunately for you only scored one, second would have killed the game. Henry was very lucky but I don't think it was offside. The second clearly was and right after that you scored equaliser, nobody can tell how the game would have gone if Henrys goal wouldn't have stand.

Man Utd had poor start to the season, Arsenal is quite the opposite. They don't seem to be that good at the moment while your counter attacking looks very efficient. I'm very surprised if Man Utd don't win the Premiership this year.
