Arsenal v Man Utd

Good first half, both teams doing some good stuff. Nice dive from Henry, for a moment I thought the cnut was getting something

Penalty for me, have to agree with Grey there was marginal contact. We'd have been screaming for it at the other end

It was a penalty.

Henry made the most of it, though

It wasn't a penalty.

There was a slight contact, but Henry fell down not because of it but because he wanted to.

i agree that carrick and scholes are basically been quiet so far but they will come more and more into the game. Im sure fergie wants them to think more defensive at least for the first half.

Carrick has helped our midfield retain possession really well. Compared to the OT game against the Arse, when he was for some unkown reason left on the bench, allowing them to pass us to death.

Rooney and Ronaldo need to track back more. On too many occasions, Neville and Evra were isolated on the wings.

Otherwise, stick to the game plan. A 0-1 win would be great, but a goaless draw wouldn't be too bad.

Ref's been a bit crap.

And Clichy is doing a very good job on whoever's playing on that right wing.

If there was contact how was it not a pen????

Come on Ronaldo!!!!!!!!

Larsson never does wrong, he's brilliant.

Not even close to a penalty. Gaz got a touch on the ball, Henry went down.

You lot are too biased for words

Anyway argument over nothing

Come on United!!!!

So everytime defender touches a striker it's a penalty? Hell, there'd be scores like 10-8 every game.

Not a bad game but not many chances on both sides, Lehman with 2 brilliant saves though

ok there was contact but Gary hit the ball away from Henry who then knew the only thing he could do was fall down. THe distinction is Gary hit the ball while drawing slight contact. Never a penalty.

fecking Hell, chill bitches!!!

I don't want it to be but in must games that would of been given

Haha Nev didn't get close to the ball

I don't think that was a penalty at all. 70% sure it was a dive.

I think we need Giggs on the left unfortunately. I really like Ronaldo there, but if Ronnie is wide left nobody is wide right.

What a shot by Rooney!

What a save by Lehmann!

I think SAF is playing Scholes and Carrick just in front of the back four because we don't have one player that is good enough to hold that spot on his own. I just wish Saha fit into this plan somehow. Giggs coming off, Rooney going wide left, Ronnie wide right, and Saha in the middle instead of Giggs in that "Rooney Role" would have worked for me.

Right now (20 minutes into the 2nd) I see Rooney moving to the middle, Giggs left, Ronnie right, and Saha on for Larsson. Also, maybe Heinze on for Evra. Evra is doing great but that card scares me. Hopefully, Gabby is up for it.

The first half was arguably the best 4-5-1 performance by United that I have ever seen.

So we're all in agreement then. It wasn't a penalty and rednome doesn't know what he's talking about.

feck off tit

You're all just biased.

What I am saying is, there was contact, Nev didn't get a touch and Henry IS a diving cnut.

BUT most Refs would have given it thats all, he didn't cos he didn't get a clear view.

Thats it chill the feck out

And I reckon we'll nick this.

True, but would still have preferred to have seen 442

Was it a penalty wasnt it? who gives a flying feck because it was not given thats the only information worth knowing.....!
In all honesty i thought that the football itself was hard to watch but the tension has made it a far more attractive game than if two other teams with no history/rivalry had played like that.
