Arsenal v Man Utd

It's a good team. I'd probably have had Saha in there, but you never know what his fitness is like.

Just hoping the reason Ole and Park arn't there is because they have minor knocks, and not because either;
a) they have longer term injuries, or
b) because SAF is being a spastic

Bit surprised about Saha, maybe he's not 100% fit or still a bit risky. Dont mind Larsson at all though.

Hope Ole and Park are alright.

I hope Saha takes this well, you've got to feel for him...being replaced by a loanee in the biggest match of the season after playing well in the first half of it. Especially after playing second fiddle to RVN for so many years.

Makes you wonder if SAF rates him or not.

It might be because Fergie has started an attacking line up. His bench gives him more options to be 'defensive' and hold onto the lead if we go in front.

Which is why it suprises me O'Shea isnt there.

Larsson with 2 assists to Rooney and Neville would be nice. Shame Sol isn't still with them to give the 1-0 lead before the break.

He payed 12 million for him, stuck by him even though he was injured for 2 years, and then played him ahead of Ruud. He's not likely to do that if he doesn't rate him.

Reckon he's put Larsson in there because the ball might stick with him a bit more, which could be important, also there was the CL final

He's a pro and has been injured, I'm sure he wont commit suicide now. And it's Larsson after all and Saha's form lately has not been as good as at the start of the season

Bit suprised that John O'shea isn't there. He would be great asset on the bench in mine opinon...

Abouth henrik Larsson vs Louis Saha it's normal that we use Larsson as much as we can. Saha will be rested and when larsson goes Saha will be in fitt for games. I can see how Sir Alex Ferguson is thinking here.

It's our best team - and SAF is right not to change it to match up strategically against the Arse. Saha on the bench in case we need him. Let's hope he gets to come on in the 89th minute to waste 30 secs before we win 2-1....

O'Shea must be injured.

He comes on in every game, with 15 minutes to go, regardless of the opponent or situation

Told you last week this is Sahas last season at OT. He will be sold in the summer and I am prepared to put a 100 quid on it.

Could be Rooney's last game before Fergie finally rests him for a couple of games

Now I am convinced that Rooney will score today. :D

Ridding of Riley isnt neccessarily a bad thing. He has a reputation as 'Red Mike' to shake off which IMO makes him less likely to swing our way when it comes to the big 50/50 decisions.

That said, Bennet is one of the most horrendous referees about, probably only second to the slightly more horrific Rennie.

Agreed. It´s not about that we get rid of Riley, feck him. But it´s WHO has replaced him. agrrrrrhhhh that cnut Bennet

This is probs a very spastic thing to say but i'm glad Larrson plays instead of Saha. Saha has played well enough this season so i have no problem with him and i know it's stupid to come to this conclusion after seeing Larsson play two games, but i think Larrson adds an extra bit of creativity up front and hopefully that could help Rooney aswell. Although, i could just be being spastic.

Right im just setting off for the pub to watch the game. Cya all in a couple of hours when hopefully we will be sitting 9pts clear at the top.

U N I T E D. UNITED ARE THE TEAM FOR ME

Good point.

Solskjaer not on the bench hmmm ?

Still a good line up though. Feck i'm still nervous though. Can't let Arsenal do the double over us this season.

2 strikers and an attacking midfielder on the bench? the bench is just fine.
