Arsenal v Man Utd

-----------------------Van Der Sar-------------------
-Neville-----Ferdinand----------------Vidic-------Evra
Ronaldo------Scholes----------------Carrick-----Giggs
-------------Rooney-----------------Saha-----------

Subs: Kuszczak, Heinze, Fletcher, Park, Larsson

Too close to call this one but Gilberto being out won't help the Arse. Should be a good game, easily the two best fooballing teams in the league.

Nah you have to play Rooney, let him get his goal first and then just him a rest. He will just get to fustrated if he is sitting out and not scoring the goals.

Also you need O'Shea on the bench, he can play in many different positions and is handy to have.

I must say out bench is looking a lot better than it has done.

If Rooney show up for this one, we'll win, otherwise we draw.

I can't tell which striker pairing we should use, maybe Saha-Rooney and then bringing on Larsson and maybe Ole later on.

heinze should play - i still think we are vulnerable against the more attacking teams with evra playing at full back.

Fabregash limped off at the end of the game yesterday. Any news on his injury? They might be able to cope without Gilberto. But not without him and Fabregash.

They let him do an interview after the game, albeit with the biggest ice pack ever seen strapped to his leg. I suspect he'll play and to be honest, in a way I'd like him to. It's got the potential to be a really great game. I agree though, if both Gilberto and Fabregas are out, it will give United the edge.

Any of you mancs going to be at the Emirates next week?
I really want to, but can't get any tickets. I'm considering buying off a tout.

I'd imagine you would be able to buy one outside the ground though likely to be pricey but you will be in with the Arsenal fans so you had better curb your natural enthusiasm in the event you lot score

they were going for in excess of 200 quid at OT for the reverse

I can't make it sadly, will be watching on the box. Would really like to go, Highbury was a great stadium and the new one looks the business on TV. Have you got a good spec Gill?

3 defenders and no Ole ?

I don't think we need both Larsson and Ole on the bench

We have plenty of scoring firepower in our starters

Very very tight game...both of us are in form but i think we'll shade it. And you have to play Rooney, his luck will change and we just have to hope it's this Sunday. Anyone know if Gallas is going to make it back in time?

This is our year so I think we will win on sunday, Arsenal cant win for second time this season, SAF would not accept that.

0-0

a draw would by no means be a disaster. i fancy both teams to cancel each other out. lets just not fall into the same trap as at OT earlier this season.

c'mon united!!

Cant believe some people are dropping Rooney to the bench for this one. He needs to be on the pitch. While he isn't the Rooney we know, he's still a player that can do the unexpected even during is run of poor form.

Saha to start this one too, his pace and power will unsettle Arsenal. We all know they don't like the physical side to the game and Saha as that in abundance. If hes playing shit, we always have Ole/Larrson to come on.

no idea who'll play, ferguson will need to make the right decisions, cause arsenal can beat any big team, especially this season.

Hope giggsy plays anyway, scholes, carrick and evra with the usual backline. Come on United!!

Any news on Fabregas?

I hope Fabregas plays.

I'd hate for us to beat them and then have all the Arse fans bleating, even though we missed a host of first teamers earlier in the season.

I'd go 2-1 United. Rooney and Saha.

Won;t bother me. I'm just desperate for us to get three points.

The new stadium is a fantastic arena.Great sightlines from every where and the prospect approaching the stadium is so impressive....awe inspiring even.

Will most probably be a draw. I`m going for a 1-2 victory anyhow. Good for us that Gilberto and possibly Cesc isn`t playing.

Half time, swicth Ronaldo to the right, take Ole off and bring Giggs on and put him on the left with Rooney and Larsson upfront.

Very tight game but we can get a win and Liverpool can get any result against Chelski I think the league is almost ours.
2-1 RooneyX2

feckin hell, too tough to call imo. not sure which is our best lineup for this one. the arse are in rare form these days so we'll have to be tight defensively. I want Rooney to start but if he's not up to it then have Saha and Lasson in there with Roons, Ole, Oshea, kruschak and Heinze on the bench.

Nice big pitch for Ronaldo to run them ragged, cross in the air or on the ground doesn't matter, Larsson will tuck it away. Rooney to come good and score. Carrick to have best game yet for United as full of confidence after Saturday's goal.

My little finger tells me that it will be Roon's day... and that he'll do a hattrick...
