Christ there all back now, the doom merchants...
Most of them aren't genuine doom merchants.

Remy is an obvious WUM. Billy Bollocks supports Liverpool.

And of course all the Liverpool supporters are now tipping themselves to win the league.

Remy - Complete and utter twat.

He's not even been online for a month.

He literally only shows up when we lose, has a bit of fun winding people up and continuing to try to deny his visceral sexual attraction to Ronaldo, and then fecks off again.

Why he's still allowed on here, I can't imagine.

You may have a point. He certainly doth protest too much.

Ronaldo has 13 goals this season numbnuts, hardly the tally of a shit midfielder winger

Bloody hell, does he (Remy) not realise that he's starting to look like the biggest cock in the history of the Caf (alongside DJS)?

Van Persie has broken his foot apparently. or wait...

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has sustained a "partial fracture" to his foot. The Dutch player suffered the injury when scoring the equalising goal in Sunday's 2-1 Barclays Premiership defeat of Manchester United.

More to follow...

dude, ive read your posts, your such a hater!

just because ronaldo didnt perform outstanding in this game doesnt mean that he goes missing!

he plays quite well against chelsea and played a blinder against arsenal in the 4-2 - i mean i can carry on giving exmaples of how hes played against the big teams but i dont want to make you look stupid so y'*** i think you should just take it easy eh?!

Hi all.....sorry i couldn't make it back as promised on Sunday night but I was on a business trip immediately following the match......

As to the game all pretty much has been said

One perspective from me,though

My seat is on the lower tier not far from the pitch........about 15-20 yds back

Many have commented, quite rightly,on United's negativity in the last half hour in trying to defend the slim 1-0 lead and resorting to feigned injuries/time wasting etc (nicely picked up by Lehmann at the end with an ironic collapse and ankle grab clearly mimicking VDS's earlier risible effort).

Certainly if Utd had defended any deeper they would have ended up in the seats but what was clearly obvious was that Scholes,Giggs and to a lesser extent Neville where absolutely knackered in the last 20 minutes.

I suspect that was the contributing factor to Fergie's decision to defend deep and protect the lead.

Sad to say,as great as they have been Scholes and Giggs are no longer 90 minute or even I would suggest full season men any more (interesting to see how often they get subbed in the remaining games of the season)

Time catches up with us all and I think they will no longer be automatic first team players come next season......looks like the final passing of what has been a great era for Man Utd.

My previous analysis of Rooney (covered in another thread) was hardly contradicted by his somewhat lame performance against us despite the goal

MotM?

Evra and Vidic were immense for Utd

Fabregas and Adebayor for Arsenal

As for the Title......could be squeaky bum time for you lot

Cheers for the insight Gillespie, I personally thought a draw would have been fair. Arsenal had plenty of possession, created enough to deserve to equalise but the winner flattered you, although not as much as the MotM award flattered Henry.

It will be interesting to see if the policy of keeping a settled squad leads to player burnout towards the end of the season, like Juventus last year in Serie , who got away with it through sheer grit and determination.

Still, in my opinion the Pompey game can't come quick enough

Interesting to talk about player burn out.......Wenger has usually protected his young players but this season, maybe because he has such believe in them,he has let them loose

I am still a bit concerned about over use of Fabregas who has already played over 100 premiership games though only 19

Wenger will not sign outfield players over the age of 30 and for those who come to that age (Bergkamp,Pires etc) there is only ever the prospect of no more than 1 extra year.He can be pretty ruthless too....Pires was brilliant for us but left not getting the extra years he wanted.

Man Utd were blessed some 10 years ago with a pretty amazing bunch of young players.....but they are now coming to the end.

Scholes lost a physical tussle with Fabregas which ended in a goal on Sunday

I think we fans sometimes underestimate the tactical thinking of managers

Fergie is no fool.....why else would he experiment with a somewhat strange formation against us Sunday if it wasn't because he feared us so thinking he had to change to combat primarily our 2 fast full backs......which is why Rooney was sacrificed for the sake of the team out wide and Ronaldo's main job was to contain Eboue in the hope that Evra could get forward (which he did as it turned out)

And why Scholes and Carrick were asked to play deep in front of the back four hoping to strike on the counter?

Good tactics given the strrengths and weaknesses of both sides but which foundered on the greater athleticism and stamina of the younger team who continued to play football until the end

As I said before,I was there and could see that Scholes and Giggs are just too old now to compete physically with guys 10 years their junior for the whole 90 minutes.

Your problem is not so much about this seasons' Title (though I do think that that as the season progresses both Scholes and Giggs will see a decline in performance) but how you replace those 2 great players.

Not easy.

In a nutshell wrong, but as you've probably only watched our team a few times this season that can be forgiven. We are okay, our points tally is ok, our 'aging' players will need to be replaced but thats the football merry go round. 8 premiership titles a few fa cups, league cups and a euro cup is a pretty good return for their service.

I think you should think about what you'll do once 'Enreeeeeeeee' leaves, as of now I'd say you have no adequate replacements. Just like us.

PS. Whats this rumour about you being a ******? Obviously I dont believe it (kinda) but where does it come from?
