Arsenal v MANCHESTER UNITED

He cant register before the game is played, the fa is closed for the bank holiday, and god knows how long a work permit will take to sort out.

Work permit should be sorted before the Cup game apparently.

So we'll score 6.2393485 × 10^19 goals more then Arsenal.

That isn't really close.

Actually I would say that it's been a while since I've been so confident about a match against Arsenal

I hope Park scares the hell out of Arse by eating a dog in the tunnel.

OK IT WAS A JOKE!

Or Rooney could just eat a baby alive. Ripping it's head off first. That'd scare the cnuts.

Or have sex with a granny, in the tunnel.

That would probably also scare the hell out of them.

What if the granny was well fit?

Pires and Ljungberg would still be scared

They may start crying

I doubt that

Unless they could each have a go at Wayne that is

United wait on English trio

Sir Alex Ferguson is hopeful of having Paul Scholes (migraine), Alan Smith (chest infection) and Wes Brown (groin) available for tomorrow's trip to Arsenal.

The trio missed Manchester United's New Year's Eve win over Bolton, although only Scholes can be certain of retaining his place if fit.

Ruud van Nistelrooy should return in place of Louis Saha, but after one of his side's best performances of the season, Ferguson may prefer to keep changes to a minimum.

Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Howard, Neville, Bardsley, Brown, Ferdinand, Silvestre, O'Shea, Richardson, Ronaldo, Park, Fletcher, Smith, Scholes, Giggs, Van Nistelrooy, Saha, Rooney, Rossi, Solskjaer.

--Gazza--Rio--Wes--Mickey--
Ronaldo--Scholes-Fletch-Giggs
------Rooney--Ruud----------

VDS
Gary - Rio - Wes - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Fletcher - Scholes - Giggs
Ruud - Rooney

Ronaldo HAS to play due to the lack of natural left back.

Gilberto is fit to play according to the official arsenal site.

If we play well then we'll stuff the cheating feckers.

I found this amusing:

Meanwhile, Jose Antonio Reyes has admitted he is happy to be only facing one Neville brother in next week's clash.

The Spaniard was given a rough ride by Gary and Phil Neville in last season's defeat at Old Trafford and the striker is pleased he will only have to deal with Gary, with Phil now having moved onto Everton.

"I've still got the scars from that game," said Reyes of last season's clash at Old Trafford.

"I'm just glad only one Neville will be coming to London with United - but I hope this game will not have any violence in it.

hehe the tart.

MANCHESTER, England, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Manager Alex Ferguson says Manchester United will need to maintain their high standards of discipline in Tuesday's showdown with Arsenal at Highbury.

The clubs have been involved in fiery encounters in recent seasons, with unsavoury incidents on and off the pitch.

Their latest meeting carries less title significance than usual, given Chelsea's domination of the Premier League, but an intense rivalry remains and Ferguson expects his players to keep their composure.

"There is a spark there which has been lit a lot of times," Ferguson told United's television station MUTV.

"In the main our behaviour in the games has been perfect. We have shown great behaviour. You need discipline in these matches.

"I don't care how Arsenal view their behaviour, everyone has their own opinion about that. But I always concern myself with our own club.

"We have done really well, our discipline has been good. The behaviour has been good and that has been enough."

With former captains Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira no longer playing for United and Arsenal respectively, Tuesday night's game will be shorn of two fiercely competitive opponents.

Vieira famously clashed with Ruud van Nistelrooy at Old Trafford in September 2003 when the Arsenal midfielder was sent off.

UNRULY SCENES

Van Nistelrooy missed a penalty in the dying moments of that game which sparked unruly scenes and led to six Arsenal players and two from United being charged by the Football Association.

The in-form van Nistelrooy returns to lead second-placed United's attack after being rested for their 4-1 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

United hold an 11-point advantage over sixth-placed Arsenal, who have already lost six games this season.

"Everyone keeps saying they are in transition. I keep saying the same thing (about us) but it doesn't get the same attention," said Ferguson.

"They have had their rocky periods in the season. Outside Chelsea, everyone can say that.

"No one has had a run like Chelsea. They have been so consistent and you have to give them credit for that."

United completed the double over Arsenal last season and must win on Tuesday to have any chance of catching Chelsea, who are 14 points clear at the top.

"We want to be nearest to Chelsea if they do slip up. I have made that point several times and it hasn't changed," said Ferguson.

"The form is good at the moment, we are playing well. The team's confidence is back.

"We are playing with a good tempo and with a good flow. I am very confident about the rest of the season."

United could also have Paul Scholes, Wes Brown and Alan Smith back from injury and illness.

It won't surprise me if we lose I think Arsenal will be up for this game after a horrible season.

We'll surely be up for it aswell.

Especially after the FA Cup Final.

If Ronnie and Rooney are in the mood we'll run riot.
