Honestly i fear of Fabregas, He is on-form this season. The Dippers contained him well and didn't give him much space but Carragher should not have allowed the space he gave fabregas which he scored.
Our weakness is the space/gap between Vidic and Rio and classic example would be Against Boro; Rio or Vidic should not have allowed the header goal. Last season similar thing happened to us at Emirates where Henry scored header goal in the stoppage time.
We know what Arsenal play so please Fergie don't play defensive football against Arsenal otherwise they will outplay us by their so called flowing-football. My suggestion is that we are playing our best football at the moment so all we need to do is tight defense.
I feel sorry for the dippers because they look confused in the second half but you have to give credit to Benitez for choosing the right formation against Arsenal. (4-3-3)
I hope we win against Arsenal by not last than 4 goals.

I would favor experience over youth--so Gaz Neville for Brown & Giggsy over Nani. We should not play an old fashioned 4-4-2 with wingers hugging the flanks. Aresnal's Rosicky and Hleb do not play like classical wingers. Rather they will cut inside to the centre to be supported by their main playmaker Cesc Fabregas. Thus, our two wingers, Ronaldo and Giggsy, will be pushed into a more central role and need to chase Rosicky and Hleb into the middle. Our two fullbacks Gaz and Evra need to be guarding Arsenal's overlapping fullbacks, Eboueu and Sagna. Hargreaves should keep a close watch on Cesc and harry him everywhere as Arsenal's most dangerous plays go through Cesc. Anderson's task will be to releas the ball quickly to our attackers...
Should be a tight affair...think we'll nick it 2-1 with goals from Giggs and Vidic (header from corner)

Ronaldo scored against L'Arse often, so my money's on him to score again.
Rooney & Ronaldo for a 2-0 win for us.
Same team as on Saturday with the exception of Evra (hopefully fit) to come in for O'Shea at the left fullback.

What if we played Giggs and Owen in the mid with Nani and Ronnie in the flanks?
Then Owen takes the defensiv role while Giggs goes for offense. In this way we have both experience and flair on the flanks and middle of the park.Plus we can have Giggs, Ronnie and Nani interchange and make a nuisance running through the centre and down the wings

and another thing, neville hasn't played a proper match for ages. what makes all of you think that he can just come slot in even if he has recovered from injury? you can have conditioning and what not but you need match practice. evidence is all too clear from looking at tevez and anderson early in the season. furthermore, with arsenal's pace in attack, neville will probably run out of gas sooner. i just don't see how neville will start that match
If Scholes can't play, definitely play Anderson rather than Carrick.
1. Anderson is probably better already in that role.

I just don't rate him, i believe Evra cold handle his pace with ease, and he's got no great trickery.
John O'Shea however is a different story...
Can't see how anyone thinks that Gary Nevillle would be thrown into this gaame if he's only just back fit. It'd be a pretty dumb move cos he's not had any match practice since March. I imagine we'll put out the same team as against Boro, with possibly Giggs in for Nani.

I'm really looking forward to this one. It should be our toughest game so far this season but I'm quitely confident that our current team is as strong or stronger in all areas of the pitch than the Gunners.
It would be nice to continue with out 4 goal a game run but I'd happily settle for a 1 0 in this one.

1st goal, Ronaldo being released in a counter attack on the right channel, sliding it inside the near post.

That's quite good detail, but you really could do with telling us the minutes they score, and the attendance wouldn't amiss
Anderson has crossed swords with Fabregas before when the former is at Porto and he did fairly well when Farbregas fouled him near the box.

When Anderson played against Arsenal in the CL the game passed him by.
Same has often happened with Fabregas when he's played against us
Actually the two I remember are last season's when he ran the show at OT (particularly) and Arsenal.
If we manage to keep Fabregas and Hleb under wraps, we should be fine.

No one's managed to stop them so far this season.
Deny them space in midfield. Personally I think Arsenal are playing without much width, esecially if we can stop your fullbacks attacking. And with Ronaldo and Giggs ready to hit on the counter, I would imagine your fullbacks would be just a little bit more conservative than in other games, wouldn't you?

Nah, we're at home we'll attack, Liverpool restricted Sagna/Clichy but at the expense of effectively taking Voronin and Kuyt out of their attack.
Do what we usually do against Arsenal.... deny them space, press them at every opportunity and put in a few sly digs when no one is looking...

Funnily enough no one seems to be doing that this season. Could be something to do with retribution being dealt out pretty smartish - see Mascherano on Sunday.
If there is one thing that history has shown us in Arse vs MU games is that if it comes to a physical battle the Red Devils come out on top....
