Guy talking on Talksport now, I have missed his name I am afraid "It really appears now that Vidal is close to joining Man Utd, fees seem to have been agreed".

Immediately after the official termination of the contract of Antonio Conte, President Andrea Agnelli has published on the website of Juventus a letter of greetings and thanks to the now former Juventus coach:

"Dear Anthony, You have been a great leader for our kids and the news today saddens me greatly.

I think the three years together, three years have led us to write the history of this Society three consecutive league titles, two Italian Super Cups, but especially a path of exponential growth.

But in the face to the feelings and personal reasons a President must take a step back.

Gone are today only two months since the last big win and Juventus should continue on its path. It starts from scratch. From zero points in the standings, like the others, and zero victories.

But this company has today a leading group of young, trained and cohesive in recent years has been able to find the ambition and determination to conquer every goal.

Juventus starts from a group of highly talented and professional athletes, who will be at the disposal of the new coach to continue writing the present and the future. The history of the Bianconeri colors you helped yourself and know that whatever choice you make, the news of a victory Juventus will tear you always have a smile.

Beppe, Fabio, Pavel and I, along with all the players, managers and employees will continue to work day and night because that is what they deserve Juventus fans, who deserves Juventus. And who works there knows to be up every minute of this great company.

Thanks for everything Antonio.

Until the end ...
AA "

Conte's interview is quite bizarre, he decides he wants out of Juventus for whatever reason but not before sitting down with their official channel for a nice chat.

This whole saga is so fishy.

I half expect Van Gaal to wake up with a horse's head in his bed later.

What's fishy? Needing to sell due to financial needs, a manager not happy his top player has to be sold, them sanctioning the sale above his head.

Hopefully that's what is happening! Nothing too fishy there.

Yeah, makes it seem like it's more a case of him going for the Italy job as opposed to some massive fall out with the club. Can't imagine him having a fight with whoever on the board and resigning then having a sit down interview for their channel.

IRST CRUNCHES - Differences with the company, albeit in a context of human relationships excellent, were known. Antonio Conte, who just spoke on Gazzetta.it at the close of the season he had stressed the importance of reinforce ("you can not eat in a restaurant with 10 Euros to 100 Euros," he said), he preferred not to renew the contract despite a proposal by 5 million per season. No separation, but a terse tweet Juve when he announced: "Season 2014/2015: coach Antonio Conte." With the contract expiring. But now, the day after the rally in Vinovo, the bomb exploded.

Clearly he wanted more money to buy players.

Anyone got a link to that Juve forum you all laugh at?

why hasnt he been signed, or why hasnt a journo kidnapped woodward and tortured the information from him and released it to the world and saved a lot of muppet lives
