Arturo Vidal

We need a @JuventuzMeltdown account.

For what it is worth just had a peep on that Juventuz forum and beside having a proper meltdown there (because of Conte leaving and Allegri likley to become their new coach), they also seem certain that Vidal to United is a done dealio now.

If the same turn of events happened here, there would be absolute carnage on here already and we'd be certain he was leaving. Everyone here is 9 times bitten 10 times shy though and don't want to get hurt again.

It's so clear he's all but ours.

Got that from the "tonight" part of the tweet, around half 9, which was a little while after Conte was reported as resigning. Jackson tweeted about it after Conte resigning also. Both tweets reteweeted by Ducker.

Maybe I'm wrong and got on the Conte news late, but I distinctly remember hearing the other stuff first.

Regardless of what happens, this will not be a long saga that will last the entire transfer window. This will be resolved in 2 days at the most. We should at least be thankful for that.

Nothing worse than long transfer sagas.

Its almost unbelievable we are prospectively starting next season with a midfield 3 of Herrera, Vidal and Mata...that is a champions league winning midfield.

The news about United not being interested in Vidal came out before the Conte news. Not that it matters anyway since the british press is full of shit and are being fed lies by Man United.

How can you be so sure of that? I don't necessarily disagree with you, just want to know your reasoning.

Call me an eternal optimist but if we go into next season with that, injuries permitting, I think we'll surprise a lot of people and be in the mix come May. Especially with no CL football to distract us.

I'm sure he has his own reasons but I agree with him for the simple reason that Conte hasn't resigned for no reason.

Because things seem to be moving fast. With a new manager coming in they are going to want to have some stability. Having the uncertainty in the air about Vidal is not good for them. They will either let it be known that he is staying or they will sell him in the next few days.

Well I said for what it is worth, but my thinking is us fans genuinely know alot more about our own players and club funnctioning and have a better gutt feeling over such things than outsiders. Ofcourse they don't know, but all posts over there that I have read so far are crystal clear, they are certain he is leaving and that it is to us, so for what it is worth I'am taking that as a positive.

The Vidal thread has been moved from their Player Forum and seems to have disappeared - I assume it's now only visible to members. There were over 1000 guests viewing and less than 200 registered users online.

That was the nail in the coffin down there in the Juventus forums, they seem resigned to losing Vidal now.

What makes you think it'll be quick?

I agree. It's just for it to happen in the next 2 days things would have to move very quickly, ala Herrera.

If suggest that Conte handing in his resignation suggests it's already moved quickly, just needs announcing.

LVG press conference tomorrow, the press might have been briefed because we want it to be a surprise.

It might not become official in the next 2 days, but it will become "Toni Kroos to Real Madrid" official. It will be unofficially official. It will be finalized no later than next week I believe.

I've been looking for that thread for the last few hours and I can confirm its not publicly viewable as well...cant even manually search for it.

Yeah putting a deadline of a week on this whole thing, whether he's sold or is staying, is an accurate timeframe I think.

Van Gaal when he speaks to the media won't say anything about Vidal. I think the club will focus on him till the end of the week and not announce anything else.

As somebody just said, if this will happen it will become Toni Kroos and Madrid official in the next few days. I think an announcement would be a longer wait.

Is the presser tomorrow? I thought it was going to be Thursday, I read that somewhere earlier today but I can't remember which paper it was in.

Could a deal be completed while he's vacating in Chile? Could representatives of the club fly out, complete the medical, cross the t's and dot the i's?

Plenty of other posts in the Allegri becoming their new coach thread and the Itturbe is now definitley off thread are pretty clear and unanimous, they all believe he is gone. Saying stuff like what a shit day, first losing Vidal to United, than Conte resigning and now Allegri becoming our new coach.

It is a pretty funny meltdown there, bit like us when Ferguson was leaving, Moyes replacing him and than imagine RVP would be leaving aswell, their world just crumbled to pieces in a matter of hours.

Of course it can.

That depends on Vidal if he wants to do while on vacation.
