Well that's hardly convincing on his part. If he hasn't said something along the lines of "Vidal is not for sale and will remain a Juventus player next season" by the time I've smashed out this comment then I'd be a very worried Juventus fan.

I can't believe the very obvious difference between 'we haven't put the player up for sale' and 'the player won't be sold' are being missed.

Essentially there have been no bids. Vidal's agent may have been talking with United, but if this is the case then United have done nothing more than make an enquiry. There have been no negotiations. Ballpark figures are probably known but no real bids... possibly as a result of wanting LVG to assess the team first?

Agreed. They've had enough bad news as it is in the past 24 hours. Allegri and Marotta are just lubing them up ready for the next wave of pain.

Could you imagine the new manager on his First presser confirming their best player will be leaving. Hardly a way to endear himself to the fans.
