Agree - There is an Italian guy where I work who happens to be a Roma fan and despite the game being a dead rubber he says there will be an intense atmosphere as Roma still have a thirst for revenge over the 7-1. This game rather then the one at OT is the one they have been waiting for. Our fringe players won't match their motivation so I can see us conceding a few.

Nah...Rome want this. Totti said they want to beat us 7-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, might not go quite that far but I think our youths will be in for some hammering. There's no way we'll risk our best players ahead of such a crucial game.

I'd rather lose by 10 then risk Vidic or Rio in Rome.
This game has absolutely no barring on how our season well develop, players like Vidic and Rio, Rooney and Anderson, well.

Rooney needs games. I don't think anderson will start the pool game, so he might start. Fergie was reluctant to put nani on the bench today, I think he might be on a little knock. Besides, a thrashing in the hands of Roma will not help our confidence.
Rooney getting a half is fine, but Anderson should surely start at Liverpool he is the best of the bunch available in CM atm imo fo sho

Hargreaves and Carrick is a recipe for disaster. SAF would never throw them to sit in the midfield together for an important game at Anfield.
